As many of you know, my brother, Bert, passed away recently. Many of you also know that Elise has wanted to have a baby for years, but doctors said she needed to remove a large fibroid before we could conceive. Well, the day after my brother passed away Elise took a pregnancy test, and we are having a BABY!!! We couldn’t share the news because things were scary. We couldn’t hear a heartbeat on the first ultrasound & it’s a high risk pregnancy so Elise has been in bed. Well, I am happy to report that the baby’s heart is beating strongly & progressing beautifully!!! Now let me ask you this. Do you believe in reincarnation? Isn’t it odd that we couldn’t get pregnant for years, then immediately after Bert passed away, the egg fertilized? Now this is some Jerry Springer sh*t because I am about to become my older brother’s Daddy! I have no doubt in my mind that this baby is Bert. I’m sure God spoke with Bert & when he found out that he could come back again as a Hurstfield, he stopped fighting. So here we are with my brother growing in my wife’s belly! (I’m gonna need some counselling! Ha!) The pregnancy is still early but we wanted to share the incredible news! We are over the moon excited about our new baby, & thankful that God is giving us this opportunity!
