As I stand here looking back on 2020 on a day like today, one thing is vividly clear. We must find a way to love each other and find common ground. Our country is in no way perfect. Not one is. However, what makes ours so special is the drive of each and every American to want to BE better, and most importantly, have the tenacity to ask and work for change to be made. That’s truly what our freedom means. When we lose sight of our roots due to injustices along the way, we hinder our growth into future greatness for all of us. Rewatching videos of September 11, 2001, personal accounts of New Yorkers’ experiences make it so clear that the way forward is unity and love. It’s what I love so dearly about this city: the unwavering strength to stand up again and again to help neighbors in need, and to rise in strength together again. No matter what happens. The sacrifice of so many of our city’s residents, along with countless others who were connected through service or other avenues of the road forward afterward should never be overlooked, erased, or rewritten. Instead of trying to erase the negatives, or point blame: learn and grow from it, and work together to create a solution. Let’s not be remembered for our dissension. Let’s be remembered for our ability to raise the bar for what unity and equality means, and honor our fallen Americans that have have allowed us to do just that. Курить вредно, мы это знаем...,и пить много спиртного тоже вредно... С детства нам об этом говорят).. Я не курю..., пыталась в студенчестве, но не пошло) В фильмах иногда не очень убедительно курила...Так что о вреде пагубных привычек мы знаем и говорим об этом нашим детям... ! Любая зависимость- беда! Но мы мало говорим с нашими детьми о созависимых отношениях. А ведь вся великая русская литература как раз об этом! Страдания, метания, страсти, душевные муки... Про счастливую любовь и жизнь никому не интересно писать... Женщины часто с упоением рассказывают друг другу, о жутком к себе отношении их «любимых», но не уходят от них... Проверяют переписку, следят, истерят, обвиняют..., но не уходят..! Сила женской любви иногда так велика, что некоторые ,разрушая свою собственную жизнь, спасают зависимых мужчин..., а эти мужчины совсем не хотят спасения! Вот когда захотят, только тогда это и станет возможным! А женщины все равно спасают в ущерб своему же здоровью ... Пишу о женщинах, просто потому что сама женщина. У меня растет дочь и мне очень хочется, чтобы она понимала, что если к тебе относятся потребительски, не ценят, не дорожат и тебе отношения важны в значительной большей мере, чем тем, с кем эти отношения.., то лучше их прекращать. Это касается и личных отношений, и дружбы, и работы! Закрывается одна дверь, открывается другая... Уходят из жизни одни люди, приходят другие...Так что тема созависимости - это не мода последних лет!
