Today is National Good Neighbor Day! This day acknowledges and celebrates the importance of a good neighbor. It is a blessing to have a good neighbor, but it is even a greater thing to BE a good neighbor. I hope you celebrate with me today ✌🏻 Oh Mr. Rogers! How I love you and loved learning from you as a child. Who knows more about being a good neighbor than this guy?! I love this quote so much because it is so true. There are some very incredible neighbors out there who are helpers. The hubby and I are very lucky to be surrounded by some awesome neighbors. They have helped us in so many ways with the animals, snow blowing the sidewalk, house sitting, borrowing tools, and the list goes on and on. We too, help out our neighbors any time we can. I will never not help someone in a time of need. Big or small. So, if any of my neighbors are reading this “Thank you! There’ll be plenty posted on his fantastic Cricket career, but a few years ago I was asked to photograph Dean and the Australian Golf Champ, the late Ian Stanley on a round of Golf for promotional photo’s for Pay TV. It was one of the funniest jobs I’d ever done, they continually joked around and made it hard for me to concentrate to set up decent pics. Deano would suddenly crouch down and use his club like a billiard cue or lean on his bag to pose then suddenly turn it over emptying all his clubs over the green.. A fun morning with an amateur golfer that I’ll never forget, and a Top Class Cricketer that Australia and the Cricketing World will never forget..
