My message to grads: you have well-honed highly valuable design thinking skills - creativity, persuasiveness, open-mindedness, craftsmanship & work ethic. You can design anything - especially your life ahead. My advice: always do what you love. If you dont love it, leave it; accept criticism as a gift, and fuel for persistence; and a unique point of view can add 50 IQ points, like anti-gravity paint for the mind.
