We rallied, marched and protested in honor of Vanessa Guillen and Enrique Roman-Martinez. We gathered to bring awareness of the oppression and discrimination the families are facing. As a community we demand justice from the country that their daughter and son signed up to serve. We are calling out the government that repaid that service with murder. Me acuerdo las tardes que me pillaba un taxi desde Panbendito hasta su estudio y me quedaba allí con el escuchando música instruméntales, o nos dábamos un pirulo por las calles céntricas de madrid agarrado de su brazo, q el loco no me dejaba a penas caminar y me cargaba rápido a su hombro hasta donde fuéramos, luego me metía en un taxi de vuelta a Panbendito y le daba dinero al taxista para q se cobrara la carrera, no me dejaba pagar...se mosqueaba. Estoy muy triste y además con un sabor amargo q no me voy a quitar nunca al recordarte, nos dejamos de hablar por malos entendidos, nos disgustamos entre los dos y no fuimos capaces de volvernos hablar aun volviéndonos a encontrar un par de veces y teniéndonos enfrente uno al otro. As I was prepping her for surgery she recited to me the reasons that it was being done. She said that it would stop the growth of unwanted hair on her face and body, her skin would become lighter and she would be more appealing to a future husband. What? Hello to all our little snackers out there. This is really hard and bittersweet for us to share, but after two and a half years of sugary joy, Little Debbie and the Crusaders is going on hiatus as I (Liv) move on to college in SLO. We formed this band when we were sixteen and it has truly been the ride of our lives, as cheesy as it sounds. We are so thankful for all the amazing people we have met in the community, and everyone who took a chance on us by booking us, buying merch or hearing us play. We have a few more shows with our supergroup Crush Material, but this is the end of Little Debz for now. It been two weeks since COP25 came to an end, but I have post nothing until now because I have been really tired after it. After September 27th I didnt expect to have to do a pots like this in a long time, but suddenly COP was moved from Santiago de Chile to Madrid. Since then, and at the same time, it was for a lot of reasons the worse and best month and a half of my life, and for sure one of the most intense. There were many things to prepare and very little time. But we make history one more time. COP has failed us, but we didnt. I like to think that this COP has been different than the previous ones because of us; because after all this year, they already know we are looking, and we rised our voices inside UN to be sure that the whole world knows that they are ignoring us. For me, I will always remember this COP as the time when half a million people marched through the streets of Madrid to demand CLIMATE JUSTICE because we asked them to do it; and when my whole Fridays For Future family (friends and college from all over the world), after all this year working together, came here to join us (my family from Fridays For Future Madrid) to keep fighting. Theres still much to be done to improve our economy and our countrys infrastructure in the wake of this years unprecedented disruptions. Today, September 23rd, is #BiVisibilityDay! Also known as Bisexuality+ Day, Bisexual Pride Day, and Celebrate Bisexuality Day, it was first observed in 1999 at the International Lesbian and Gay Association Conference in Johannesburg South Africa. The idea was developed by three bisexual rights activists: Wendy Curry, Michael Page, and Gigi Raven Wilbur. The date was chosen as a reference to Freddie Mercury whose birthday is in September. Los ataques por parte de los cuerpos policíacos se hicieron más intensos, lanzaron y detonaron cuetones esquirlas, estos artefactos dejaron un par de mujeres heridas. El bloque negro continuó respondiendo ante la máxima violencia y represión, por lo que la policía disperso gas pimienta. En mi tercer en vivo se aprecia como fue esparcido brutalmente el gas. Marabunta llegó a auxiliar y comenzó a intermediar para llegar a algún trató con las autoridades. Entre todas nos cuidamos, porqué si tocan a una, respondemos todas 🔥✊🏼.
