. 📸 © Fondazione Archivio Antonio Ligabue di Parma . LIGABUE & VITALONI. Female copperheads give birth during the late summer or early fall. Young copperheads look exactly like adults, except they have a yellow-tipped tail. . . . 🇬🇧 A stunning example of craftmanship from Assiut is the coffin of a man named Iy, found during Schiaparellis excavations in 1908. This coffin stands out because the eyes painted on one of the long sides are wedjat eyes decorated with typical features that reproduce the facial markings of the Lanner falcon. Taken from the myth of the healed eye of the falcon-headed god Horus, these symbols were also considered to have the protective and regenerative function that would be associated with them throughout ancient Egyptian civilization. The Emerald Tablet is centuries old and remains one of alchemys most famous texts. The text holds particular significance for the time travelers. The line, That which is below is like that which is above, and that which is above is like that which is below, could be interpreted as: In a time loop, everything is interdependent. Another line, Sic mundus creatus est – Thus the world was created, inspired the name of Adams organisation. - @darknetflix1921 on Instagram

. . . #leonardodavinci #davinci #Leonardo #digital #leonard #collection #hombredevitruvio #uomovitruviano #uomouniversale #marcovitruvio #proportion #venezia #museum #lucapacioli - @leonardodavinci.500 on Instagram

#museoarcheologiconuoro #museoarcheonuoro #beniculturali #mibact #museitaliani #mibactsardegna #direzionemuseisardegna #distrettoculturaledelnuorese #atenedellasardegna #archeologia #archeologiasarda #sardegna #instamuseum #archaeology #sardinianarchaeology #paleontologia #MonteTuttavista #GrottaCorbeddu #Cynotheriumsardous - @museoarcheologiconuoro on Instagram

––– . Andean societies developed a small-scale metallurgy that meant a key technological change. Among the coastal groups dedicated to hunting, fishing, and gathering, the acquisition of metal meant the emergence of a new technology that improved the capture of animals due to its greater duration and effectiveness, compared to lithic harpoons and shell or thorn hooks. In the images, we see different devices designed for fishing and capturing marine species, such as simple hooks of different sizes (for different species of fish), some with mythical weights and cotton lines, a composite hook and a harpoon with beards and an incomplete fragment with hunting line to catch otariids. — Little is known about the relationship of ancient societies to animals. We currently live in an ecological context diminished by the prevailing predation of ecosystems by extractivism related to mining, industrial fishing, and forest industry, which has greatly altered ecological balances and biodiversity. In the past, the relationship with animals, and nature as a whole, was very different from today. Many animals are entities charged with a deep symbolism related to their attributes, environment, and ethology. The llamas were used as pack animals while being companions on the route, where the leaders or leaders of the herd were highly valued for their knowledge of the territory and leadership among their peers. Dogs are the oldest domestic animal, being in addition to friends and companions, an aid for activities such as herding and hunting. While the turtles and pelicans were highly valued for reasons that we do not know today, being buried as an offering in some tombs. @insidenatgeo - @archaeology_and_agriculture on Instagram

- @nucleotaguatagua on Instagram
