A great turnout at OUAs for the Brock Men’s and Women’s Squash Team! Women came out and gave all they had on the courts, down 3 players they still came out with wins against MacMaster, Waterloo and losing in a close 4-3 battle against the Western Mustangs, having the badger ladies place 4th 🐾 The men’s team played just as hard as the women’s team and managed to beat MacMaster and Toronto and losing in a close 4-3 to Guelph and Queens, having the men’s team place 5th!💪🏼 To top it all off our two Badgers, rookie Heather McLachlan and graduating Mo Hamour won this years OUA All-Star awards (not to mention its Hamour’s 4th year winning the OUA All-Star award) as well as OUA’s Women’s Rookie of the Year Award AND OUAs MVP Award both to McLachlan who did not lose a match ALL SEASON! I guerrieri coraggiosi non muoiono mai, al massimo si “allontanano” per un po’ per permettere alle altre persone di mettere in pratica il buon esempio dato.. sei stato un pilastro per tutta la nostra Associazione, per i grandi e per i piccoli per forza, dedizione, volontariato e tutte le risate che ci hai fatto fare.. Una macchina di forza disumana applicata al folklore, al divertimento e allo stare sempre in compagnia... Il ricordo di te sarà sempre nell’ultima fila sfilando, suonando quanto 4 mamuthones insieme, una bella birra fresca e la battuta sempre pronta a rallegrarci tutti.. c’è una frase odiata e reputata retorica e banale...”sono sempre i migliori che se ne vanno”...questa volta se n’è andato non semplicemente il migliore ma un nostro Pilastro..quando la vita sa essere puttana non ci resta che piangere.. tutta l’acqua di oggi in confronto alle nostre lacrime è veramente niente.. Vivere degli insegnamenti che ci hai dato questo sarà il nostro futuro, non ultimo insegnamento la tua forza di volontà nell’insegnare l’arte delle funi.. Auch ich bin öfter als Ausbildungsbotschafterin im Einsatz. Ich habe nach meinem Schulabschluss lange hin und her überlegt, bis ich den Job in der Verwaltung gefunden habe. Deswegen bin ich Ausbildungsbotschafterin geworden – um für unsere Verwaltung zu begeistern und um euch dabei zu helfen, den richtigen Beruf für euch zu finden. Am meisten Spaß macht mir dabei der persönliche Austausch.
