Hace un tiempo hicimos una sesión de fotos y videos de algunos de nuestros queridos micrófonos... se puede ver la mayoría de los que tenemos de tipo condensador, tanto de diafragma grande como pequeño (más uno de cinta infiltrado por ahí, - el hermoso Rode NTR fue un endorsment de @cromaonline -. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Desde entonces la familia ha crecido, pueden visitar nuestra ficha técnica para la lista completa (link en la bio). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Con frecuencia nos preguntan si tal micrófono es mejor que otro... la respuesta suele ser la misma (salvo comparaciones obvias de gamas muy dispares): Depende de lo que se vaya a grabar. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Una frase que lo ejemplifica muy bien a la hora de grabar vocales es Los micrófonos son como los perfumes, hay que elegir dependiendo del tipo de piel de cada persona. Legend Gary Numan with a Roland 808! Here’s an excerpt from the Gary Numan Synth History interview a couple months ago! Synth History: Do you have a favorite synthesizer of all time? Gary: I do but it’s a software synth called Omnisphere. I think Omnisphere is an incredible tool for people like me, songwriters that are grounded more in sound than technique. If you mean a hardware synth I’d probably go for the Oberheim OBXa. The OBXa always seemed to come up with the unexpected. Synth History: Drum machine, acoustic drums, or both? Gary: Depends. I don’t really use drum machines at all, haven’t for many years. I have always used real drummers live of course, usually working with loops and other triggered drum parts or sounds. In the studio it’s usually loops first for the vibe and then programmed real drum samples, but not a real drummer. I’d like to use a real drummer in the studio again, at least in part, to add to all the programming, and we may do on the new album. Hoje faz um ano. Um ano da minha estreia na tela da ESPN Brasil. No meio destes tempos tão doidos, esperava que a esta altura já estaríamos fisicamente juntos de novo. Queria tanto poder abraçar todo mundo e cada um, cada companheiro que me acolheu desde que cheguei. Fui bem recebida, isso fez toda diferença. Quando digo que estou completando um ano de casa, alguns dizem “mas já?!”, outros dizem, “só um ano?!”. De fato, são as duas sensações. De que tudo passou rápido demais e de que me sinto parte do time há mais tempo. Que bom!  Destes 12 meses, 8 foram no tal home office. Pouco pude curtir a convivência na redação, o agito no camarim e no estúdio... mas, é curioso, estar longe e trabalhando de forma remota fortaleceu laços, aproximou companheiros que tínhamos pouco contato no dia-a-dia... agora são mais e mais abraços apertados pra dar quando estivermos no prédio.  Não sei vocês, eu sou muito de pensar na vida, refletir o que foi, o que é, o que pode ser, nestes tempos de pandemia e isolamento social então, revisitar a vida é prática comum. Claro que já repassei os quase 12 anos de carreira a limpo. Tenho orgulho e uma satisfação enorme de tudo que passei, do que conquistei, do que me formou ao longo destes anos. Não de hoje venho me reinventando, amadurecendo, me preparando pro que ainda virá. A vida é mudança constante! Pelo menos pra mim! Essa palavra mudança assusta muita gente, aliás, muitos acham que ela só acontece quando as coisas não estão bem – sabe aquela, “do time que está ganhando...”. Como não, porque não, se for pra melhorar ainda mais? Assim fui encarando as mudanças dos últimos anos – de cidade, de emprego, de vivências. Se é pra crescer, se é pra aprender, se é pra desafiar, vamos!! Obrigada a quem esteve e está ao meu lado nestas aventuras todas. A quem me recebeu e me recebe todo dia (mesmo que agora em reuniões e produções virtuais hahaha).  A quem assiste e confia no nosso trabalho. Um ano de casa (literalmente), de conquistas e aprendizados. Ganhei novos amigos, hoje chamo de amigo ídolos de longa data! Sintam-se todos abraçados e representados nestas poucas fotos! This is a general software development principle and can be applied in any programming language, as well as in CSS. As we can understand from its name, DRY aims to avoid or reduce repetition as much as possible. 🔸𝗡𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴🔸 Naming CSS selectors is another important point for writing better CSS. The name of a selector should be self-descriptive and readable. There are various naming conventions that you can use in your project. BEM (block element modifier) is one of them. Ive worked with BEM before and I can recommend it. 🔹𝗗𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗲𝘀🔹 In my opinion, the best practice is actually not using inline styles.  According to the separation of concerns principle, design (CSS), content (HTML) and logic (JavaScript) should be separated for reasons like better readability and maintenance. 🔸𝗔𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 !𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗴🔸 The !important tag has the highest specificity of all CSS selectors. Youre basically saying to the browser to apply that specific rule with the !important tag always and under any circumstances. This is not good because CSS rules can differ from one selector to another, from parent selector to child. The only way to override an important tag is to use another important tag. And this leads to using more and more important tags. In thi case your project code will be full of !important tags, which makes your CSS code much harder to maintain. So try not to use it. 🔹𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿🔹 Working with a CSS Preprocessor like Sass or Less is very useful in bigger projects. A preprocessor brings additional features to our CSS code that we normally cant do. 🔸𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀🔸 Some of the CSS properties like paddings, margins, fonts and borders can be written in a much simpler way by shorthands. Creo que todo aquel físicamente capaz de producir un sonido con sus cuerdas vocales puede y debería cantar todos los días. No es que todo el mundo tenga que ser un cantante profesional, nisiquiera que todas las voces sean agradables para los oídos, lo que pienso es que todos los seres humanos han sido literalmente diseñados para cantar. Cantar se considera una actividad aeróbica por la cantidad de oxigeno que se envía al cerebro y esto gracias a la respiración profunda que exije el canto. Nuestra respiración tiene un inmenso poder restaurador incluso nos puede llevar a un estado meditativo 💗 cantar disminuye los niveles de cortizol ( hormona del stress) lo que nos permite producir más anticuerpos que potencian nuestro sistema inmunologico. Mejor dicho CANTE AUNQUE NO SEA CANTANTE! Experimentar el placer de las vibraciones sonoras cuando resuenan en nuestras vocas y cuerpos es de las cosas más liberadoras que existen para mi, es un derroche de endorfina que te pone en mood positivo de inmediato. Sua voz, sempre com um tom diferente, me fez sorrir, chorar, cantar, ficar com raiva e imaginar, como seria ter vc em minha vida! Foi tão difícil chegar até você, entender como você funcionava, mas finalmente consegui entrar no seu mundo! E quando consegui, contava as horas pra te ver... pela manhã, a tarde, noite, e até nas madrugadas nos encontrávamos! Por você fiquei longe de amigos, amores, familia, perdi natais, passei várias viradas de ano só com você! Feriados, quase não existiam, e férias... Bem, só quando você deixava. As vezes isso me irritava, outras, era tudo o que eu tinha! Quantas vezes deixei de lado dor de cabeça, de garganta, resfriados, dor no coração... na alma, só para não te perder! Minhas tristezas e ansiedades às vezes sumiam, bastava estar com vc. Os anos passaram, e me decepcionei com vc em alguns momentos, tive raiva, pensei até em desistir! Mas não adianta!
