It’s @officialolanihun birthday week and it’s started off with me crying and swelling with pride. I had planned to post a #tb picture of her each day this week because I’m a Mummy and I’ve loved every version of her over the past 7 years. So, it’s with so much joy that I get to do more than that, I also get to share her achievements in her last academic school year, achievements that span well beyond academia. To quote Olani’s teacher “It has been an absolute joy to teach Olani this year, and sometimes I have been the student and she the teacher as she shares her experiences and passions with us all.” Olani has excelled at her personal learning goals performing beyond expectation in all subjects and proven to be a great contributor to her schools eco council and a compassionate class mate. I’m just beaming on her behalf as she very casually accepts her awesomeness lol. I truly believe it takes a village to raise the child and hold so much gratitude in my heart for each person that has influenced, loved and guided my daughter, you all make my job so much easier and enjoyable. Special mention to her daddy @lutiseku who really deserves recognition for introducing her to the unorthodox, creating space for her and her brother to think outside the box. You’re doing such an awesome job, hopefully our homeschooling attempts haven’t ruined everything 😂.
