Gutted. 😫 Despite the end result, What an experience it was to start off pole position at the British GP on my return to @fiaf3, unfortunately I fluffed the start (4years of no standing starts took its toll 🤣) but I was running strongly in 3rd, then at the halfway point I had a fuel pump failure and didn’t finish... We deserved more after getting the teams best qualifying of the season on Friday and a P10 on Saturday we were having a strong weekend. @carlinracing did a mega job, we learnt huge amounts across the two weekends and took huge steps forward! Big thanks to my engineer @jimcrocker1985 mechanic @swchilds92 and the rest of the F3 crew for the mega job! YES! THATS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT. Happy is an understatement of how Im feeling at the moment. My second win comes in probably the most enjoyable track to drive a car. My start was certainly key, tyre management went well and full credits for that go to my engineer and team boss @danny_vdniet who helped me hold my nerves in crucial parts of the race.
