THE GIN VENUE Ive been quiet about this for ages. The reason being was I was waiting for planning permission to come through. Its taken 6 months, but its finally here🎉 In the end I chose not to write about it as everything seemed so uncertain. The whole world was so strange, and my little world was so uncertain!! I applied for Change of Use, but needed to supply flood risk documentation to the Environment Agency that was far beyond anything I ever imagined, due to me changing the premises to a Drinking Establishment thats near a river in Chelmsford. The answer to everything is ££££. I just couldnt spend £3.5k on a flood risk specialist out of my contingency budget. Trust me, I explored every avenue....I wont list them because when I go for it, I go for it... Everyone was supportive, but no one could actually help. So, I upskilled myself, and after one failed attempt, many days of studying and writing reports, my last risk assessment passed!! It is great news, but I am left wondering if this country actually wants small businesses to get off the ground at the moment. Sometimes the starting point for a print is reading a piece of poetry or prose that moves me to the point that I feel a need to produce a piece of art, something that attempts to interpret and accentuate the meaning I find in the words. Persia produced some incredible poets in the Middle Ages. Hafez (also known as Hafiz, 1310–1390) is probably my favourite. His timeless poetry transcends cultures, borders and politics because its about the human condition. Some people are just too tired to shout. Too bullied to shout. Too in fear to shout. . The tactic from the authorities is to exhaust the people so they give up and are under control again. . Now more than ever we need a community of support. Groups of all kinds supporting each other sharing their stories. . Psalm 25 is an intimate prayer of one who is presently suffering, who trusts in God and waits in hope that he will not be ashamed. It is the prayer of one who groans and longs to see God’s ways, his glorious acts of grace and mercy for his people. He longs to be delivered by the One in whom he seeks refuge (25:20). He asks for the redemption of Israel from all his troubles (25:22). In the middle of the poem spoken by one who is presently suffering are two instructive⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ words (25:8–10 and 25:12–14) that seem so out of place. They do not end the suffering, the penitent life, the life of longing. Thus the poet continues to plead to God, and even after the last “interruption” (25:12–14), continues to repent⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ and seek God and hope. Only Yhwh’s redemption of Israel can bring an end to his (and our) troubles, and the poet knows it.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But in the midst of that walk, like we walk with the words of Paul, the speaker carries his own description of the truth. How can it be true? How will God “make all things work together for good to those who love him” (Rom 8:28)? How are “all the ways” of God “grace and truth for those who keep his covenant and his statues” (Ps 25:10)? In one sense, that is a mystery. In another sense, that mystery has been revealed by Christ. We already know the answer: resurrection! New labels for new Grand Cru. It took decades for the Deiss family to be able to purchase some of the famed Schlossberg. It is the Deiss’ only grand cru on granite. Their parcel runs from the top to the bottom of this incredible terraced slope. Apa yang terjadi di tengah perjalanan mereka? ada angin sakal yang sangat dahsyat!! . 3. Murid2 pekerjaannya nelayan, buat mereka menghadapi badai laut atau tantangan dalam pekerjaan mereka itu hal yang biasa,, tapi kali ini kok mereka ketakutann banget??? . . Terkadang, badai hidup bukan hanya menyerang sisi lemah hidup, tetapi sisi terkuat hidup kitapun bisa kena badai,, kita yang d pekerjaan, di pelayanan, di kantor, biasanya kuat menghadapi berbagai macam situasi, bisa lemah juga pada hal2 yang sebenernya kita kuat,, itulah manusia pada dasarny, ga ada alasan kita buat bermegah atas diri kita karena setiap bagian diri kita adalah rapuh dan butuh Tuhan . Tuhan izinkan badai ada, supaya kita bisa menilai iman kita kepadanya sejauh apa,, ada yang ketika ditengah badai, menjadi kalut, galau, nangis, insecure, bahkan menjadi pura2 kuat dan berusaha mati2an menyelamatkan diri sendiri, menjadi palsu sama diri sendiri,, tetapi ada yang rapuh, datang, meningkatkan persekutuan sama Tuhan, jujur kepada sesamanya ( yang namanya manusia tetap butuh orang lain, tidak sok sok kuat),, nah waktu badai itu datang, pertanyaanku = apakah kita jadi orang yang beda, kita sibuk mengurus keselamatan diri kita sendiri dengan tenaga kita sendiri yang rapuh seperti orang ketakutan, atau justru kita datang kepada Allah? Kita mengaku kepada sesama bahwa kita juga lemah? . . Tuhan lebih suka merubah apa yang di dalam pikiranmu, hatimu, dari pada langsung menyelesaikan masalahmu,, ingatlah beberapa hal ini: 1. Jika Tuhan yang menyuruh kita pergi, terus ada badai, tenang aja pasti sampe . 2. Tuhan berjalan bersamamu di dalam badai, dia mengubah hidupmu di dalam badai, So,, gausah takut,, kata kunciny percaya aja,, it means jangan gantungkan lg dirimu sama hal2 yang kamu punya,, yang kamu punya useless untuk menyelamatkanmu,, percaya saja Dia sanggup . 3.
