The past 8 months have been truly the best moments of my life. As a person, as a woman, I’ve grown exponentially more than I ever thought I could. I’ve come to love and cherish my body in ways I never thought achievable. I’m proud of what it’s done for me and for our sweet girl. What a triumph. When I received these photos, I was shook. I was so blown away at the beauty of pregnancy and how much love I felt. So much more than I ever could have imagined. But all of a sudden I had doubts that maybe it would be inappropriate to share with all of my friends and family - that somehow I should be ashamed to share my bare belly and the changes to my skin. I’ve quickly moved past that... I am so proud to be a woman and to share my body and grow another human, it’s just too precious. I am so incredibly grateful for this blessing. It’s something I’ll never take for granted. We are so lucky. I never imagined I’d be so moved by this experience. But here I am, and I am changed forever. Becoming pregnant and becoming a mother has been the very best thing to happen to me in my life. 34 or 37 weeks 💕 If you missed my stories based on the ultrasound I had in the emergency department baby is measuring 2 weeks ahead! Mommy was dilated and contracting consistently. However since dilation didn’t progress but baby has significantly dropped and all other labor signs have begun to show I wouldn’t be surprised if she made her grand entrance a little earlier than expected. This week I’ll be asking my doctor about an EDD update and to check for any progression. I’ll also continue nesting hard and getting everything ready JUST IN CASE🙃! Przez 8 miesięcy byłam torpedą.🌪 Miałam tyle energii, że mogłam góry przenosić. Pracowałam, sprzątałam, gotowałam, chodziłam na długie spacery, tryskałam optymizmem, nie miałam żadnych czarnych myśli, miałam za to świetne nastawienie do porodu. Na przełomie 8 i 9 miesiąca pękłam po raz pierwszy. Po kolejnym intensywnym dniu, nagle całkowicie opadłam z sił, do tego zobaczyłam, że brzuch lekko opadł i się zaczęło... Natłok czarnych myśli, przerażenie, że to już niedługo, że nie ma odwrotu, strach czy dam radę, czy wszystko będzie dobrze, czy maleństwo będzie zdrowe, czy zdążymy na czas do szpitala, czy będę wiedziała, że to już, ale też żeby nie pojechać za wcześnie, czy nie zamkną mojego szpitala przez COVID, czy położna dojedzie na czas itp. itd... Płakałam, że chciałabym być słonicą i przez kolejny rok chodzić w ciąży, a nie rodzić w najbliższych dniach, tygodniach? 🐘 No właśnie... jeszcze ten brak jakiejkolwiek pewności kiedy to się wydarzy... Na szczęście była przy mnie wtedy moja Mama ♥️, wyprzytulała, dała się wypłakać i rozwiała wszelkie wątpliwości. Nikt przecież w takich momentach nie rozumie kobiety tak, jak druga kobieta, Mama, a do tego doświadczona położna. Poczułam się zdecydowanie lepiej, póki co taki atak paniki się już nie powtórzył, a ja zyskałam pewność siebie, choć sił fizycznych już nie odzyskałam i dziś nie przeniosłabym nawet najmniejszego pagórka 🙈. Ciężko było się z tym pogodzić po tak aktywnych miesiącach, ale słucham swojego ciała i jestem mu niezmiernie wdzięczna, że przez 8 miesięcy tak dobrze dawaliśmy sobie radę 😍. Dziewczyny? A Wy jak wspominacie końcówkę ciąży? Chciałyście by trwała jak najdłużej, czy marzyłyście by było już po wszystkim? 🤔 P.S. Já comentei nos stories ontem. Cada vez mais tenho gostado da ideia de fotografar as gravidas com roupas que marcam a barriga e nao deixam a mostra. Ou só de lingerie de uma maneira mais organica ou natural. Da para notar isso vendo as outras fotos da minha timeline. Acredito que essas duas maneiras se aproximam mais da realidade da vida: usando roupas do dia a dia ou se olhando despida no espelho. Capturando a essência e personalidade de cada pessoa. E a fotografia, como ela sempre foi: uma maneira de retratar as pessoas e contar histórias para gerações futuras. Half way there! Can’t believe I get to have another baby girl. Baby is then size of a mango now and I’m feeling her move more and more. ❤️ I have a lot more energy and my pain is lifting. I think that pregnancy miracle is kicking in for me. 😍 I don’t have many food aversions or cravings, I definitely notice I don’t want sweets very often which is not like me.😂Loving my body for growing a miracle. Goddess much? JK. I kept beating myself for feeling like shit for most of my pregnancy. And then a WHOLE PERSON popped out and I was like, oh yeah there was a whole dude inside of me. That’s why. Pregnancy was hard. I didn’t want to be on IG and see all the happy beautiful people. I wanted to cocoon in my apartment and watch reality tv until 2am every night, and I did. Thank you 90 Day Fiancé and all of your spinoffs. Now that Miles is out, I feel so much better. For mamas who don’t like being pregnant, it’s OK and there is a light at the end of the tunnel. 54 weeks, 365 days and 8760 hours of the Oh Baby studio. 1 whole year since I opened the doors to my absolute dream, and one whole year since I was told by my uni lecturers that this little dream of mine was guaranteed to fail. Well, to be honest, if I’d have seen the year that was coming I probably would’ve agreed. Having my first proper year of business the year of a global pandemic was hard to say the least and there was a lot a lot of times I didn’t think it’d come out at all, but here we are, 1 year after opening the studio doors and I’m feeling better than ever. I don’t want this to sound like a cheesy speech so I’m gonna keep it short and sweet 😂 but I just wanna thank my boyfriend, my family and my beaut friends for every kind of support you’ve given me, every step of the way, you’re the best. Baby Brianna Faith Franklin made her debut this morning at 8:11am 6 lb 14 ozs. She’s very long, calm and absolutely perfect with a full head of hair. We face timed with baby Dre who is now lil dre.. the baby position has been passed on 😂 he blew a kiss to her on the phone. This whole experience was different from Deandres birth in more ways than one. Mainly that this time it was a planned csection instead of an emergency csection. The main difference with Covid is wearing the mask at almost all times when nurses are around, not having visitors, and no newborn photo shoot. I did get tested Monday for covid and it was negative. The restrictions for covid positive moms are a lot different. My support person is allowed to come and go but can not trade spots for someone else to visit. We are allowed to order outside food and have people bring us things but have to meet them outside. Schwangerschaft ~ ~ Das Bild ist letztes Jahr im April in der 34. SSW entstanden und ich war so glücklich, endlich einen Babybauch zu haben. Bei Noemi hatte ich das nämlich nicht so wirklich. Must admit, when I first heard there was such a thing as maternity panties I was a bit dubious - could they be much different than regular panties? I stand converted - very, very converted 😂 @mamanoonursingwear sent me a couple of their high waisted knickers to try out, and basically I can’t get them through the wash fast enough after wearing. They’re deliciously soft and comfortable, and so much more supportive and secure than my non-maternity knickers. They don’t dig in, roll down or bunch up under your growing bump, which was driving me mad! Plus they look pretty darn cute too! They’re available up to a XXL - which fits me perfectly, and I’m usually a size 20. And to answer the question I got so many times when I featured them on my stories - they would be absolutely great, even if you’re not pregnant!
