We were in the thick of saving for our wedding and our condo renovation when Patrick told me we should park some money as well in Sunlife insurance and investments. We didnt have a lot of money back then, we were young professionals just starting our hustle and figuring out our career paths while simultaneously also starting a life together, so I will be honest.. it was a painful financial decision to make. It required a lot of lifestyle adjustments on our end, we had to give up many little things that young adults our age were enjoying so freely.. All because we wanted to be better prepared for our future. Looking back, Im so grateful Patrick was sensible enough to think long term and to really be intentional in building a firm foundation for our future goals as individuals and as a couple. We still have a looooong way to go, many years to continue the hustle and we are bound to still experience a lot of obstacles, but it puts me at ease knowing that we are on a slow and steady path. My dear friend and Sunlife Advisor @themamadvisorph has been journeying with us for several years now, taking care of our personal and family accounts. We would be lost without her guidance, she patiently explains everything in a way we can understand so shes been such a huge help to us.😉On Aug 19, I will be hosting the 2nd session of SUN Talks Real World, Real Talk: Your Guide to Adulting. Решить проблему можно только одним способом: наладить режим сна. ⠀ Вы пьете слишком мало воды Ощущения голода и жажды очень похожи, и перепутать одно с другим довольно легко. Многие попадаются в эту ловушку, заглушают жажду бесконечными перекусами и в итоге переедают. В общем, известный совет «Хочешь есть – выпей стакан воды» – не издевательство, а очень здравая рекомендация. ⠀ Вы едите слишком много сладкого Когда мы перекусываем конфетой, печенькой или, например, булкой, весь сахар практически мгновенно поступает в кровь. Уровень глюкозы резко повышается, а потом так же резко падает – и нам снова хочется есть. ⠀ Если голод перетерпеть, организм начнет использовать запасы гликогена из печени, чтобы привести уровень сахара в крови в норму. Но если снова потянуться за печенькой, весь цикл повторится. В долгосрочной перспективе постоянные скачки уровня глюкозы могут привести к инсулинорезистентности и диабету.
