Love me a good DIY restoration project. I just used salt water and aluminum foil to scrape off the rust, then lightly sanded it with a fine foam sanding block and then spray painted it with @rustoleum satin exterior spray paint. I then used the same sanding block to lightly refinish the paint so it was a little distressed and really buffed the edges to have the original metal show at the edges. All in all, it was probably a 6 hour project to reclaim this early 1900’s piece.
