We have exactly 97 days left in 2020. After this month, we have 3 months left. To me, thats crazy. Time, our most valuable asset, goes so quickly. That being said, I wanted to finish this year out strong. I wanted to finish out my spending plan and budget not just for next month, but the rest of the year. I have already showed you my October budget calendar (see earlier Instagram post) BUT today, I finished creating my budget calendars for 2020. November and December budget calendars ✔. What an amazing feeling. With some major holidays approaching, I know my life is going to get crazy. First time in the new home. First time my family is able to celebrate under the same roof. The first time I have ever hosted a family holiday. A lot of firsts. I wanted to lessen the stress around other areas of my life. The big one - a game plan for my money. Heres my challenge to you. Lets finish the rest of this year out strong. I challenge you to complete your budget calendars for the remaining months in 2020. Do these need to be perfect, no. But start getting your busy holiday schedule down on your calendar so you can ensure that your spending is covered. The last few months of the year can cause a lot of financial stress. I am beyond thrilled to announce that today my first picturebook as an author and illustrator Gustavo the Shy Ghost is published in USA by @candlewickpress. . The story is about little ghost who more than anything in the world wants to make some friends, but he has a little problem. He is way too shy, so much that the other monsters around him cant notice him. Gustavo is also in love with Alma, the prettiest (invisible) monster in town. What will he do? . It was a long wait and it took ten years for me to finally achieve this. I would like to thank my lovely family for always being supportive of me, especially mum and dad, even if they had no idea what I was doing -sometimes I didnt know either.
