It was a bit steeper than we thought but there was some lovely scenery! EL DISEÑO DE FÁBRICA Hace varios años compramos una lavadora nueva para nuestra casa, y cuando me la llevaron me dispuse a instalarla. La miré y fue bastante lógico para mí que el cable de energía fuera al enchufe, la manguera de desagüe al orificio que para tal fin estaba en la pared del cuarto de lavado, y la que decía agua caliente, pues al grifo del agua caliente. “No se necesita ser un maestro para instalar esto”, pensé, sintiendo el orgullo de haber hecho un buen trabajo y de haberme ahorrado unos cuantos dólares. Pusimos una ropa dentro, oprimí el botón de Start y el agua empezó a llenar la máquina. De repente la lavadora empezó a sonar mal y a vibrar mucho, no supe que hacer, esperé a ver qué pasaba hasta que de pronto se paró y no funcionó más. De esa experiencia aprendí dos cosas: 1) la primera, que las lavadoras traen un pin que protege el tambor para que este no se dañe durante el transporte. 2) la segunda, que mi razonamiento, aunque me parezca lógico no siempre es correcto, así que lo mejor es consultar con el fabricante porque de seguro él sabe mejor que yo cómo funcionan las cosas. Me di cuenta de que en muchas áreas de mi vida había cometido el mismo error. En mi matrimonio, por once años hice muchas cosas que dañaron a mi pareja, pero yo no sabía lo que estaba haciendo mal ni como arreglarlo porque no leí el manual; nacieron mis 2 primeros hijos y fue sólo cuando llegaron a la adolescencia cuando la rebeldía y el ver en ellos cosas contrarias a las que esperaba me indicaron lo mal padre que había sido. Doch mit jeder verstrichenen Schwangerschaftswoche wuchs erst seine Neugierde, dann seine Vorfreude. Und bereits viel früher, als wir erwartet hatten, flammte eine richtig starke Geschwisterliebe in ihm auf, obwohl Piet zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch im Bauch war. Micha und ich dachten, die neue Zeit mit Piet würde Tom am schwersten fallen, weil er bis dato das Nesthäkchen in unserer Familie gewesen war. Ich hätte mit Eifersucht gerechnet, vielleicht auch mit etwas Unverständnis für Piets 24/7-Bedürfnisse. Aber nichts da! Weder Eifersucht noch Unverständnis. HAI MAI ASSAGGIATO LA NDUJA ? 🌶 🌶 La Nduja è uno dei più famosi, se non il più famoso, tra i prodotti alimentari calabresi. ll suo nome deriva dal francese andouille, che vuol dire salsiccia. Tipica di Spilinga in particolare, e di tutto il territorio di Vibo Valentia in generale; è un salame morbido, spalmabile, piccantissimo. Originariamente la nduja era un alimento povero, e veniva infatti preparato usando le parti meno nobili del maiale come interiora, trippa e polmoni. Al giorno doggi, invece, vengono destinate alla produzione della nduja le parti migliori del maiale, che vengono impastate con sale e peperoncino. Il tutto viene poi insaccato in budello naturale. Questo fantastico salume morbido viene poi leggermente affumicato prima di essere stagionato per alcuni mesi. È quasi superfluo sottolineare come la nduja, grazie al gusto squisito e al piccante dovuto a tanto peperoncino, viene da alcuni considerata afrodisiaca. (Anche la qualita del peperoncino ha la sua importanza per ottenere un risultato tanto caratteristico.) Tradizionalmente la Nduja di Spilinga viene servita spalmata su una fetta di pane abbrustolito caldo, come condimento per la pasta, o sulla pizza. 40 & loving life . Last week my wife threw me a surprise 40th birthday party ( so I thought I’d share it on my celebrant page) . What a night! My original party was cancelled due to covid like every other event in 2020 so I was happy to settle for some quiet family time and couch hangs . 😺 Сделал кроватку для своего сына! - @rimarenko.pavel ⠀ 🚜 Мой Кирюша просто без ума от всякой строительной техники и, особенно, тракторов. И вот понадобилась ему новая кроватка. Из старой он уже вырос, а найти в интернте что-то интересное у меня не вышло 🤨 Обошел несколько магазинов и рынков и в конце концов разочаровался: все скучно, дорого и неэкологично. 🤔 Подумал: а почему бы не попробовать смастерить своими руками? Так я и решил. Несколько дней проектирования, неделька на изготовление и вот результат! ⠀ 👉 Листайте карусель, там есть видеообзорчик) У кроватки открываются двери, крутятся колёса, есть руль, приборная панель, ящик для игрушек, труба, которая имитирует выхлопную систему. На рынке видел похожий экземпляр в виде машины за $200 из ДСП — это неэкологично, попадались так же варианты и за $500 - как по мне малофункциональны и не интересны малышу 😊 К такому материалу, как ДСП я плохо отношусь, так что кровать сделал полностью из берёзовой фанеры 18 мм. ⠀ 😁 В итоге Кирилл просто в восторге от своего нового трактора! 🌻 my loves 🌻 . I feel like words cant even explain how proud I am of Aleeah and Maddison lately. This year has been so hard for them, they have been through alot of changes, moving houses, new siblings, having to take so much time off school - it hasnt been easy for them and we tried to navigate through that as best as we could. . This year became the year of watching netflix on the couch, home learning, going to the park everyday, scavenger hunts in the backyard, spending all your time playing with siblings instead of friends, video calls to our family, and just staying home. . Theyre more compassionate and their confidence has sky-rocketed - which is amazing, theyre kind and so caring and have the biggest hearts. . Although this was not an ideal situation, staying home and having months of learning at their own pace has done wonders. They returned to school last week so confident in themselves and their ability, they had an amazing day and seeing their faces light up when they walked out the school gate that afternoon to tell me about their day was the biggest reminder for me that we made the right choice. Hello new followers 👋 Just thought wed introduce ourselves again as its been a while and weve gotten a bunch of new followers over the last week. We are Gal Pals, a Brighton and London based club night for queer women, trans and non-binary people. Pre-pandemic we ran monthly club nights in London and Brighton, now we run virtual parties, usually fortnightly, on Zoom and Twitch. Ingredients: 3 big fennel cut in a vertical way Quality olive oil Brown sugar as like Salt as like Black ground pepper as like All seasoning spice Garlic powder Spread olive oil generously. Rub well all spices on the fennels surface. Preheat your oven to 400°c. Put the fennels on a parchmemt paper and cover the pan. Cook in the oven for 30 minutes. I try to keep everything positive in this space, so with all the craziness going on in the world, I sometimes find myself having a hard time posting captions that are real. But what is real, is I’ve been reevaluating what is and isn’t important. It’s important to be investing more of my time into my kids than worrying so much about everything else in the world. It’s more important to hold them close, read to them, sing to them, and make sure they know that they are loved. I am still learning to navigate through the weirdest of times while trying to give my kids the childhood they deserve. I have loved every minute of getting to wear Jules close to me like a hug, while I put my best foot forward with homeschooling. Aquí no hay juguetes regados por toda la casa, de hecho nunca salen de los estantes donde se han guardado. Aquí no hay gritos de euforia a la hora de jugar. No hay un mundo mágico infantil, ni esas historias tan llenas de imaginación. No sé si Lara preferiría las muñecas o jugar con un balón. ¿Quizás ambos?. Sabes, esa dulce vocecita llamando a mami, mami, mami mil veces, nunca la escuché 😭. Ayer me encontré con una escena que me dejó pensando, una mujer tirándole del pelo a su hijo, ¿sabes por qué?, corrió, sí, se emocionó en el pasillo del mercado y corrió, pero pronto regresó con su familia. No estoy juzgando su actitud, porque tal vez para ella y para tantos otros es una razón para quejarse y luchar con el niño...para mí sería un gran logro. Así es como yo querría que Lara fuera libre para correr y jugar donde quisiera. Sería maravilloso tener varios juguetes regados por la casa, porque ella jugó con ellos. Y si pudiera llamarme mami y no se fuera con otros porque siempre prefiere mi regazo, porque es un chicle de mami, sería perfecto también, pero tuvo que aprender en sus primeros días de vida que está sola (porque mami no pudo hacer nada para sacarla, fueron meses para que le dieran el alta) en una pequeña cuna en la UCI. Así que ella va con todos, o con cualquiera. Si pudiera dar un consejo a una madre tan cansada de la maternidad real, sería tranquila, pasará, crecerá. La maternidad para algunas mujeres es tan triste y dolorosa, así que agradece a Dios por la salud de tu hijo. Los niños felices gritan, corren, no se detienen, parecen tener hormiguitas en sus pañales ja ja ja, quieren explorar todo lo que les rodea, sean pacientes con ellos, enseñen mil veces si es necesario. Intenta no perder el autocontrol, cuenta hasta 10, bésalos, abrázalos, detente para escuchar sus increíbles historias. Smell: Its weird to say it, but the aroma of this sauce smells exactly like a strawberry smoothie. In terms of aroma, I would have to say that the fruity, sweet, berry aroma from the strawberries makes up at least 70% of what I smell in the aroma of this sauce. Right behind it, you can pick up on the Basil and Carolina Reapers at almost an identical time. The Carolina Reapers work well with the strawberries because they are very fruity and sweet peppers generally, and the basil also tends to have a pungent and somewhat sweet aroma as well. The Garlic is not very noticeable in the aroma, and there are only slight hints of the apple cider vinegar. 🌶 . Pour: The sauce is thick yet smooth and has a beautiful pinkish-red color. 🔥 . Taste: I have to say that this is by far one of the most unique tastings fruit-based hot sauces I have ever tried. I think one of the reasons behind it, is that there is no added sugar at all. As soon as the sauce hits your tongue, you get this beautiful natural strawberry flavor, as its sweet, fruity, and juicy. This flavor immediately combines with the pepper-forward flavor of the Carolina Reaper peppers which bring out that immediate heat and build-up but also brings out a very bright, sweet, fruity flavor. All the while, the basil is adding an herbal flavor balance, while the Apple Cider Vinegar and Lime Juice add a little bit of a zesty tanginess that is not overwhelming the strawberries and Reapers. The Garlic is noticeable after you swallow the sauce and you do get a salty kick at the end. I really like this sauce, and if anything, I would maybe like to see just a little less salt? I am looking forward to using this on Ice Cream, but otherwise, I am not sure what I would use it on unless I want a spicy smoothie. I would give this sauce an 8.5/10 on flavor. 🌶 . DJ and Kennedy are 5 years apart and they have quite the unique relationship because they have such different personalities. Kennedy has the most vibrant, outgoing personality and she is full of energy and has PLENTY to say at ANY given moment, while DJ is literally the chillest kid ever and is as cool as a fan. Being a working parent is a challenge. Working parent in 2020 is close to impossible. It has been tough to shut off at night, so many parents like me are trying to find a healthy way to relax, to sleep, to breathe.. . Trying to remind ourselves we are doing our best, and that is all we can do. That our kids want to see us smile, hug them, go through this with them and lower our expectations so we get through this together! We are living through a (freaking) pandemic. . Easier said then done... so many of us drink more and self-care less. I found the 3:1 ratio of @kindred_grown to be a huge help. 15mg of CBD, 5mg of THC.
