Très à l’écoute de la nature, nous aimons nous investir dans des projets environnementaux sur notre route. Ces 2 dernières années, nous vivions en Amérique du Nord à bord de Blue Bear, un Dodge Ram B250 de 1991. No meio dessa quarentena, decidi revisitar alguns clipes que fiz e falar um pouco deles... Começo então com o Dino vs. Dino do @farfromalaska ! Conheci a banda no @festivalbananada em Goiânia em 2013, quando estava dirigindo o projeto Fábrica do Som. Naquele momento, acho que eles tinham lançado somente o EP e eu pirei muito no som. Comecei a trocar idéia com o @ra.ffa e depois de uns meses ele me mandou a master de Dino, perguntando se eu conhecia alguém pra fazer um Lyric Video. Na hora, eu já falei que essa música merecia um clipe! Fiquei procurando locações no RN pelo Google Earth durante dias, até achar o deserto em que filmamos... Depois de tudo acertado, o clipe acabou caindo por conta dos custos e ficou um clima de velório entre a gente. Mas refizemos as contas e nos demos conta que dava pra fazer! Foi tudo filmado em apenas um dia e com algumas aventuras... Camionete 4x4 atolada, trator da prefeitura pra nos resgatar, marmita com areia e sem talher, @laurokirsch quase tendo um ataque cardíaco e por aí vai! Thank you everyone who has been reaching out with messages of support and love ❤️. Many have asked what it’s like to see my personal life—and trauma—in a documentary. Here are a few thoughts (spoilers below): Watching episode 2 was… exhilarating, surreal, devastating. Even though I “know the story,” I still found out new nuggets of what transpired between Mark and Bonnie. I was heartbroken watching what Bonnie went through. All I can say is that we all should be so grateful Bonnie was strong enough to finally trust her gut and leave. Ultimately, it was her choice to act out of love, and to never give Mark an ultimatum. That choice sent a ripple effect throughout the community. Bonnie is my hero. Mark was able to wake up and guide me out and lead with love also. It was wild for me to listen to the conversation he recorded between us where you can literally HEAR my choice point between either throwing Mark under the bus to Lauren, or telling him the truth. #Cliffhanger. DOCUMENTAL ESPACIO DESIERTO Sinopsis “En el norte de Chile, Leonel dedica su vida a develar misterios sobre la existencia extraterrestre. Junto a los miembros de su organización ufológica, Leonel organiza una vigilia OVNI. Bajo el manto estrellado del cielo nocturno y ante la inmensidad del desierto, intentan hacer contacto” ___ El año 2013 grabamos el documental “Pullay, la murga de una noche” dirigido por Yerko Ravlic, realizador también copiapino. Habiamos egresado hace poco de la universidad y esta era para ambos el primer largo documental, que él dirigía y yo trabajaba en la imagen. En este rodaje, luego de una entrevista en un museo conocimos a Leonel Codoceo, guardia del lugar, quien nos mostró unas fotografías de huellas de extraterrestres en su teléfono. Con los chicxs quedamos descolocadxs por las imágenes, las recuerdo muy reales, tanto que parecía absurdo que realmente lo fueran. El año 2017, tiempo después y fruto de esta anécdota tuvimos el rodaje de “Espacio Desierto”, dirigido nuevamente por Yerko y fotografiado por mi. Durante un mes de rodaje profundizamos la razón de la fe de Leonel por la vida extraterrestre, conocimos personas creyentes de su organización y también distintas perspectivas del fenómeno OVNI en Atacama. Este proyecto fue un gran desafio desde la cinematografía, en transmitir la silenciosa búsqueda de Leonel por el territorio de Atacama, dándole sentido y evolución al paisaje que iba encontrando, el desierto, las estrellas, la oscuridad, el misterio. En las grabaciones nocturnas necesitábamos registrar los avistamientos con el mayor detalle posible. Para lograr esto arrendamos un lente Voigtlander 25mm con apertura F0.95, así junto a la amiga Sony a7S y un Grabador Atomos Shogun logramos tener un vivo cielo nocturno que tanto queríamos en la narración. Este bello documental está en proceso final de montaje. Estoy a la espera del estreno para compartir mucho más sobre la experiencia y el trabajo que hubo detrás, ya que todo lo que se me ocurre por escribir aquí parece spoiler y no es la idea.
