A weight lifted from me and I felt a small nudge of normalcy approaching. But, Id been suppressing my emotions about all the restrictions, changes, and concerns around the virus, and these were tears I had been holding onto for a long time. ⠀ ⠀ So, its also been a week of introspection. 👁🗨 Ive been thinking about our time in isolation - its been 25 weeks of lockdown for our household, and never has there been a time when we have done so much, yet so little...⠀ ⠀ I have learned a great deal in isolation. ⠀ ⠀ 💭I started a business.⠀ 💭I brought on clients.⠀ 💭I am managing a lovely cohort of repeat clients.⠀ 💭I have one or two new clients joining me on weekly.⠀ 💭Ive upskilled my understanding of SEO - and am continuing to do so.⠀ 💭I completed a five-month life coaching course with @sammiesonjafleming (happy birthday to you for today 💕).⠀ 💭I finished the six-week Instagram Unpacked course with @shallwesocial 💭I completed a freelance writing course with @writerscentreau⠀ 💭I wrote my first feature article and it was published here @vewzpaper⠀ 💭I did profile writing and content creation courses.⠀ 💭I have created a multitude of written words for my clients and edited many more.⠀ 💭I learned I could *pivot* and push forth with ideas, plans, and parenting at the same time.⠀ ⠀ I learned that with a bit of time and space I could achieve great things, and with a bit of self-compassion I could feel great while doing them. Hi everyone! Just felt like writing with some little life updates 3 As of today, Im 25 weeks pregnant! Unbelievable. Cant believe how fast this whole thing has gone :o Baby Blue is getting bigger and stronger by the day - not messing around at all with these kicks! Im in PT now for some gnarly pregnancy-related hip pain. But dont worry. My wife is taking great care of me :) I think were both enjoying the process so far, and we sure love seeing our baby grow.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Alex and I have been trying to take extra good care of our bodies and spirits these days. Lots of cooking, lots of yoga, getting excited for lots of walking as the weather cools down. Ive been trying to continue to limit my time on social media, which is absolutely necessary for my health and well-being - trying to schedule posts as often as possible, and desperately trying not to start my day with screens because I know if I start the day that way, its how I spend the whole day.
