Nos dias 9 e 10 de novembro, o Município promove a XXXVI Feira da Castanha – Festa do Castanheiro. Ao longo destes dois dias, a vila de Marvão convida os seus visitantes para os quatro tradicionais magustos, com a melhor castanha assada e vinho da região, nos Largos do Terreiro, de Santa Maria, do Pelourinho e do Espírito Santo. Finalmente Outono. O Equinócio foi precisamente hoje às 14:31h e aqui pela Serra a folhagem já vai começando aos poucos a mudar de tom. Ainda falta um bom bocado para aquela brutal explosão de cor, mas aqui entre nós a coisa fica prometida para meados de Novembro. Por isso, se não esturraste já todos os dias de férias de papo para o ar na praia, marca na agenda e vai passar uns dias de Outono ao bosque. Aqui pela Estrela a sugestão é a mesma de sempre: Manteigas e o bosque das Faias de São Lourenço, mas a Serra não se esgota naquela encosta mais abençoada pelos deuses da floresta. Um pouco por todo o lado em redor de Manteigas, as encostas vão ficar sarapintadas de amarelo, castanho e vermelho, numa intensa matriz de verde. São as faias, as bétulas, os áceres, as tramazeiras, os carvalhos… Cada um com o seu tom e o seu tempo de mudar de cor, num autêntico time lapse a olho nú. The vineyard leaves all change colors at different times depending on the plot and it really looks like a painting. Wineries are also busy with harvest, so you see so much activity in the vineyards, cellars, and on the roads. Ive been a part of this noisy internet world for about 13 years now. And something I really pride myself on is being able to separate the real world from the gram. But this week I failed miserably. I let the trolls get the better of me, and second guessed my content plan. Someone tagged me in a post and I couldnt get to it that day, and then the notification fell off my mentions. I meant to come back to it I swear, but then kids, dinner, work, etc happened. This person was very upset and thought maybe I was too big for my boots. Trust me when I say this, Im the biggest people pleaser you will ever meet, and my biggest fear is people not liking me - I would never intentionally ignore someone 😬 Then I saw everyone posting about Diwali and I was like, wait, woah, am I a total mess up? Is it wrong that I still have Thanksgiving and Halloween on the brain? All of this to say what my friend @deargirlslovemom always tells me - put your blinders on lady! Fall Hiking Spree Trail of the Week: Rock Creek Trail Rock Creek Trail at Furnace Run Metro Park in Richfield follows and crisscrosses a serene stream through beautifully forested land that was farmed starting circa 1812. The land which includes Furnace Run, one of the cleanest of tributaries of the Cuyahoga River, was originally promised to SMP by Charles Brush Jr., but his wife Dorothy Hamilton Brush delayed the donation following the untimely deaths of her husband and young daughter. Всем привет! Почти 2 месяца без соцсетей прошли прекрасно. Первую неделю ловила себя на мысли, что есть привычка машинально заходить в соцсеть.Чтобы не соблазняться, я сразу удалила из телефона Instagram, и палец лишний раз не тянулся проверить ленту или директ. И если бы приложение было установлено, я бы точно туда заходила в первые дни. Появилось ощущение некого информационного вакуума и внутреннего дискомфорта, но примерно через неделю оно прошло. То есть, избавилась от этой привычки я довольно быстро, за неделю. Гораздо веселее было с теми жизненными проблемами, от которых я уворачивалась под предлогом мне некогда, у меня же Работа! (работа тут обязательно с большой буквы и с восклицательным знаком). Но и с этим всем я быстренько разобралась, признав, что от решения этих задач и проблем я сбегала в соцсеть. На мой взгляд, тут главное - себе не врать, когда обнаруживаешь факт самообмана 😁👍, и разруливать накопившиеся проблемы уверенно и без страхов. И, если честно, я бы ещё посидела с удовольствием в социальной самоизоляции 🤪 (тут очень здорово). Но грядёт #Inktober2020, традиционный осенний чернильный марафон, который я полюбила в последние годы, поскольку уже давно использую чернила и перьевую ручку в жизни каждый день. И мне захотелось поддержать традицию, вылезти из норки и поучаствовать. Немного в своём формате, я не собираюсь придерживаться тем из официального списка и использовать только один цвет чернил. Мне просто хочется рисовать и писать чернилами весь месяц. И показывать то, что получается. Всё это время я вела дневники каждый день, но об этом и другом расскажу позже. The hazelnuts are harvested between August and September and dried in the sun. To maintain freshness, the nuts are only cracked shortly before they are transported to Germany.
