The Blanchard nose won out against the Schneider nose. Today Baby Schneider is 30 weeks, very active, very low and mostly uncooperative for any ultrasound/sonogram. FAMily Update 💻 Fear and hope. Two things all parents of kids fighting 🥊 monsters live with daily. For Klay’s mom, the fear is in the unkown, and watching her sweet boy struggle. Klay was recently admitted overnight to monitor extremely low blood pressure. His little heart ♥️ has been all over the place, and he’s battled ⚔️ both tachycardia and a low Ejection Fraction. The doctors were concerned that one of his heart medicines 💊 was causing the low BP, but decided the benefit outweighed the risk, and are continuing the med. He was sent back to housing, and they are keeping an eye 👁 on his blood pressure. As she watches her baby, Klay’s mom also has hope when he giggles, snuggles and plays. His chloromas are clearing up, which is a good sign ✴️ that his treatment is working. Please pray for Klay, that his heart remains strong. And pray for his momma’s heart too. My concerns dismissed and a clearance to fly was written to travel to work. It will ALWAYS sting, no matter how much time passes. I did not challenge or question her advice. In my eyes at the time, the specialist knows best so everything is fine. I was a first time mum, what did I know?! I then went on to dismiss any other signs presenting themsleves as normal and did not back myself to stand up, speak up + demand more answers. I dont tell you this to feel anger or to feel sorry for me. I tell you this share my lessons in hope it will resonate with someone and potentially change the course of their life. The day my heart was broken. Was the day I found my voice. Trust was broken so I learnt to trust myself. It can be difficult to march to your own drum beat + listen to your instincts when the world around you is noisy. You learn to live life never being the same again. You learn to love harder and appreciate the simple things. You learn deep sorrow but also learn unspeakable joy. You learn that happy people have often experienced as much adversity as those who are unhappy. What sets them apart is that they have the good sense to manage their memories in a way that enriches their lives. No matter the tragedy look for the lesson. There will always be one! Today 8 years ago, a little baby boy was born. He was simply perfect 💙 but he was just born too early for this world. Maybe things could have been different but they werent. Our little girl came early! 😍 Rose Marie Elizabeth Malig Marquez. Born January 19th (Capricorn season! 💪) at 3lbs 2oz. 15. She is small, solid, healthy, and I love her to pieces❤ 🌞 @heleinalouisse and I are doing great, we have a few more days here in the hospital to recover. Our little girl will likely be here in the NICU for a few months. We were admitted to the hospital on Thursday and have been here ever since...
