Frankie Pierce Park ————————————————————— Do I dare say I have a new favorite playground?? Here’s why Frankie Pierce Park is possibly my new fave- 1. Scooter friendly (if you haven’t picked up on it yet, Beckett LOVES to scooter), 2. Unique play equipment (slides, turf, climbing structures, spinning things, etc.), 3. In walking distance to food (@cleanjuicegulch, @_mlrose, Starbucks, Publix), 4. 10 min away from my house 🙌🏼, 5. Trains!!!!!!!! We saw 4 trains during our 2 hour hang, 6. I think I just love a new park. So obvi, this place is awesome. We’ve been a few times, and it’s normally not too crowded (a few families here and there). We’ve enjoyed grabbing a smoothie after playing and even bringing dinner from M.L. Rose to the park. Only 👎🏼, there’s not much shade in the mornings, but that cool weather is coming so it will be a perfect spot for a fall hang. You can park in the Capitol View Parking lot or there’s street parking off of LifeWay Plaza. If you’re looking for more playground inspo, use the @gethappyly app to find a new spot! Playground users should follow social distancing recommendations, wear a face covering, practice good hygiene, and follow the regulations put forth by the California Department of Public Health. I took our youngest on an adventure date today. He wanted to try a new park. Lucky for him, I keep a huge list of places we need to visit. 😂 And off to Sugarhouse Park we went. This was our first time and we were amazed at how HUGE this park is. There is so much space—lots of open grass, huge trees, a big pond, a creek, and this really fun playground. We explored all over, but his favorite part was feeding the ducks—Of course! 😉 I liked the shady, little creek. Following a bleak autumn-winter period, there is strong expectation from tourism, accommodation and retail owners that the September school and October long weekend holiday period would provide a much-needed stimulus for the ailing Port Stephens economy. Toboggan Hill Park manager Hayley Bell said there was much to look forward to over the spring break after a six month downturn, which included the park shutting its doors for a short period. Чего коснулась перезагрузка в районе Царицыно 💫 ⠀ 👉 После долгих лет запустения был реконструирован Аршиновский парк 🌲. При этом в нем сохранили естественный ландшафт и ценные хвойные деревья. Были установлены лавочки и опоры освещения 💡, открыты современные игровые площадки, а для любителей активного отдыха построен небольшой спортивный городок 🏋🏻♂️. ⠀ 👉 Привели в порядок территории скверов у станции «Кантемировская» и кинотеатра «Эльбрус». Возле «Кантемировской» высадили деревья 🌳, разбили клумбы 🌺 и газоны, установили новые скамейки и провели дополнительное освещение. А у кинотеатра «Эльбрус» поставили садовые диваны в тени деревьев, обустроили фонтан ⛲ и цветники. ⠀ 👉 В район пришло наземное метро 🚊 — Московские центральные диаметры (МЦД). Железнодорожная станция Царицыно стала остановочным пунктом МЦД-2 «Курско-Рижский». Железнодорожную инфраструктуру модернизировали, заменили покрытие платформ, а территорию вокруг станции обновили. We have word from the county that Hellyer County Park Playground is OPEN! The playground is being sanitized once each day. Hellyer County Park : San Jose One of our favorite parks to visit! 🦆 This park has everything! 178 acres with a lake, birds, picnic area, restrooms, loop trail around the lake, biking areas, off leash-dog parks, leashed dog walking, a splash pad and a parking lot. Hours: Year-round 8am-sunset Entry fee is $6.00 Large parking lot in front of the playground and near the lake. A note as of June 2020 “Overcrowding of parking lots and trails can cause temporary closures. This is a fluid situation designed to control the amount of vehicles and visitors at any given time. Turnover can happen fairly quickly as park staff monitors the flow of attendance. The Park Commission is excited to announce the opening of the spray park located at Mercer County Park, next to the Marina in West Windsor. The new installment features a shade structure with tables underneath and a variation of in-ground sprays, cascading mists of water, and colorful sprayers and sprinklers. The spray park will be open to the public on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays ONLY from 11 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. To allow for park patrons to utilize the spray park and maximize social distancing under current COVID-19 regulations, a 25-person capacity and 45-minute allotted time system is in place. Individual access tickets will only be given out to people present at the time of ticket request. Admission will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. No reservations accepted. Welcome news for Costa Mesas kids and families! The City of Costa Mesa will reopen its park playgrounds on Sept. 30. The California Department of Public Health issued new guidance for playgrounds and other outdoor recreational facilities. Of course, the public health guidance still applies like Social Distancing and wearing of masks is required for all participants over the age of 2. There will be signage posted at each location. We are all so thankful to open our playgrounds! The new guidance applies to outdoor playgrounds located in parks, campgrounds, and other publicly accessible locations. Exciting news – all 90+ playgrounds will be re-opened by early afternoon today. It follows the re-opening of our two skate parks yesterday. Our crews were out from early this morning removing the ‘closed’ signs and inspecting the playgrounds and outdoor gym equipment following the sites’ forced ‘hibernation’. When visiting playgrounds, skate parks or outdoor gyms, remember to: 🧍↔️🧍 Follow social distancing rules of 1.5 metres, while gatherings should be no more than 10 people. 🧼 🤲 Practice safe hygiene and wash hands regularly. Temporary signage reminding everyone of their responsibilities will be installed at our biggest playgrounds today and progressively at the remaining sites over the coming days.
