Magic Boards. Do you have one? Really wish I still had this 14’ Joe Bark. Thing was like a hot knife cutting through butter. I had trade-ins with Joe and cycled through a couple boards a year. Every now and then regret would set in and I’d be scrambling to buy back my magic board. This one moved where I wanted and glided like no other. Extra thick early commander. Modeled after @t_gair winning Catalina quiver. I was three years removed from my last @jay_race and wanted the comeback win. broken hearted... i’ve been putting this off for almost a week now. still mourning and trying to comprehend life without you.. of all the things to have happened this year, losing you is by far the hardest.. in my entire life. the wound is too fresh and it’s depressing to write about you like you’re in the past and, i hope it’s not because i’m in denial, but i refuse to. sammie, sambam, oscata meme, poo poosh, fluffer nutter, moi źlate, sweetie boy i love you with my entire being and then some. you’ve been with me for more than half my life- on countless rollerblade and bike ride runs with me, playing fetch with coconuts in the yard, soaking up the sun on the dock, eating watermelon out of my hands at the beach, coming to bed until i kick you out because your snoring is out of control and i don’t even know how you sleep through it, picking me up at the airport when I’d visit from college or CA, your soft curly ears, my favorite place to burrow my face, a comfort blanket for all those rocky times..the list goes on. one of my favorite things is taking you on car rides down mcgregor during christmas time when all the lights line the streets for miles and blasting some in-the-moment music. you always look back at me with your adorable bug eyes like you’re thanking me before sticking your face back out the window and letting your ears flop around. bliss. i can’t remember a single decoration or song that played, but i can vividly picture your adorable face and how it makes me feel every time. i can’t explain the bond you have with an animal, but it’s on a much deeper level than any other. relying solely on emotion and understanding to communicate. the purest love you will experience. sammie, you’re the best kind of family and friend i could of asked for. what i would do for one last squeeze. i love you sweet, beautiful boy -sissy mama 🤍💧 - @miskasykora on Instagram
