Aproveitando a semana do dia dos Avós... Vou deixar aqui um presentão! A Minha receita de “Sonho”. Onde tudo começou... Essa receita é muito especial. Bom final de semana.😘 ⠀ SONHOS DA PALMIRINHA ⠀ Tempo de Preparo: 1 hora Rendimento: 20 unidades ⠀ Ingredientes para Massa: 3 tabletes de fermento biológico ½ colher (chá) de sal 1 xícara de leite morno 3 colheres (sopa) de açúcar 3 ovos 2 colheres (sopa) de manteiga 6 xícaras (chá) de farinha de trigo ⠀ Ingredientes para o Recheio: 1 lata de leite condensado 1 lata de leite (use a lata de leite condensado vazia para medir) 2 colheres (sopa) de amido de milho 3 gemas 1 colher (chá) de essência de baunilha Açúcar e canela em pó para polvilhar ⠀ Modo de Preparo: Coloque, numa tigela, o fermento e o sal e misture até virar um líquido. Acrescente o leite morno, o açúcar e os ovos. Em seguida, mexa para que os ingredientes se misturem. Adicione a manteiga e vá acrescentando a farinha, aos poucos. Depois, mexa até obter uma massa que não grude nos dedos (coloque mais farinha, se necessário). A seguir. Sove a massa em uma superfície enfarinhada até ficar compacta, porém macia. Deixe descansar por cerca de 20 minutos. Feito isso, abra a amassa com um rolo. Modele os sonhos com um cortador redondo e acomode-os em assadeiras enfarinhadas, mantendo distância entre eles. Deixe descansar por cerca de 20 minutos, para que dobrem de volume. Depois, frite os sonhos e coloque-os para escorrer em papel-toalha. Deixe esfriar para depois rechear. ⠀ Enquanto isso, prepare o recheio: em uma panela, misture o leite condensado, o leite (reserve um pouco) e o amido de milho dissolvido no leite reservado e as gemas. Cozinhe em fogo baixo por cerca de 5 minutos até engrossar. Desligue e adicione a essência de baunilha. Deixe esfriar. ⠀ Abra os sonhos ao meio com uma tesoura e recheie-os. The Best Chocolate Chip Waffle Helloooo! It’s been a busy and fancy week at Lopaus Point. We are making waffles ALL the time. It is THE BEST! Thank you! My birthday was a couple of days ago so that’s the fancy of my week. My family prepared an amazing homemade breakfast and super early; I was still out the door before 7:15am. Balloons, flowers, a feast and lots of affection. It was the fuel I needed for a big day at the Waffle Mothership. I got to end the day with a fantastic dinner out on the patio at one of my favorite restaurants that sources a lot of their food locally. It was A-mazing and relaxing. To top it all off were these homemade cupcakes made by my daughter that looked like they came from a bakery: Vanilla is my favorite flavor and so I got GF vanilla cupcakes with a DF vanilla buttercream adorned with confetti sprinkles! I felt pretty spoiled and very grateful. So with fall being our busiest season, I am shifting my weekly newsletter to monthly but we will still engage in between I promise. We have earned some new, larger opportunities for our waffles and being a small company, it’s all hands on deck including my own to make it happen. We are growing thanks to you and your support. I hope the holiday weekend brings you a day of rest and a fun-filled weekend to send off the high season of summer. Fall is my favorite and I can’t wait for the chilly mornings and evenings and to unpack my sweaters. I’m a Maine girl, that’s how I roll.
