- Winter headband. Last year I brought myself a woollen headband from a charity shop to keep my ears warm and my daughter pinched it and as I couldn’t find another one I decided to knit my own. Didn’t have a pattern so made it up using a cable stitch pattern.
- So I decided to freehand a Gudetama and ended up writing out the pattern too! I really like how he came out
- Update from Dad! He didn’t quite like the needles so tried the other one left him that I had started with scrap yarn and these smaller needles and ran out of room after making a square. I cast on double the stitches on these needles for him yesterday afternoon and this is where he is at today at!

Day 5 of dyeing Appa and every single time I have fingering weight in the trays, all I want is rice noodles😂🤤 I should be finished dyeing Appa soon (read: as soon as my powder dyes come in because I just used the last of the base for this colorway and I still have more skeins to dye😂)! And after this, the other colorways should get knocked out quickly. When Appa is 20% of the skeins for the *entire* collection, it’s gonna take me a hot second to get through!😂😂😂 And then when the Autumn AF pre-order is 25% of the entire ATLA collection, you get started on those too😂🖤 you’re all the lights of my life.
