I used to find cooking so hard and complicated but after leaving my job as a formulation scientist I had to find creative ventures elsewhere. Why/when did you learn to cook? Tip for pork belly- you want it to be as dry as possible!! This retains less moisture for the meat and you get that crackle crispy pork skin sound 🧨💥 and also poke holes in the skin!! Bacon wrapped, cream cheese stuffed, homegrown jalapeños . Hubs has been obsessed with Jalapeño Poppers since first trying them at the West Dean Chilli Fiesta ten years ago. Whether bacon wrapped or breaded, he’s not fussy! So he picked a load from the garden and a short while later presented this little bowl of deliciousness! . Our jalapeños are quite small this year and not overly hot. We’re not particularly green fingered so every year is a learning curve! . These are worth making, as they’re very yummy!
