His provocative work offers critical commentaries on the clichés of growing up African American in the US. That handkerchief belonged to our father, Emilio. ⁣⁣ I remember that white thread handkerchief perfectly because I gifted it to him... It was from a Swiss brand that I found in a store in Puerto Rico called Sterling House. It was the 80s and I was only able to find it there, I also gave him others with his initial E. It is that time again... We have been working on our new spring summer 2021 Collection for the last couple of months and are finally able to present it to you at Paris Fashion Week. At the beginning of this year, when we were in our Paris showroom the last time for the presentation of our current winter collection, most of the appointments were gradually cancelled because of COVID-19. We were devastated and sad that nobody could see this beautiful collection we worked so hard on. Today, we are more than happy that after six months of hard work, tears and sweat, we are back in Paris and able to prove ourselves once again with another season, which was definitely not clear after the last one. The project intends to create a digital archive of the monument in its state of occupation by civil society. Hours after the protest, government censorship prevented people from seeing the Angel of Independence by boarding it up and immediately working on its restoration, thus erasing all the claims against violence that were posted by women all over the monument. This work allows the words and actions of protest to remain in our collective memory.
