Where do I even begin… it’s my mom’s birthday today 🎂🎉🤍!!! She shares a birthday with Annie and @shaymerritt ... talk about a powerhouse lineup of incredible women! My mom is really something special. I was having coffee with my dad the other day and he was telling me about how fortunate he was to have my mom at his side through life, especially with his diagnosis. I thought about it, and looked up at him and asked him “what do you love most about her? “ He looked up at me with big tears in his eyes said “her heart “. Then I started crying. Ahh, it’s so true. My mom does have the biggest heart. She is the person that puts everyone else before herself, and wouldn’t think to complain about it, not even for a second. She so willingly shares her love in such a gracious open way with no strings attached… It’s the kind of love that the world needs more of. She is the grandma with the best hugs, the stranger on the street with the biggest smiles, the life of the party, the friend you always hoped you would have and has more talent in her pinkie than 12 people combined (she’s an artist) but is so modest. Happy birthday sweet mama. I have no idea how I lucked out landing you as my mom but am I ever grateful I did. Como se organizar para consulta com seu dermatologista? Vou deixar algumas dicas para vocês se organizarem para irem à consulta: - Anotem suas dicas no bloco de notas, assim você não esquece nada e todas as suas dúvidas podem ser esclarecidas. - Se tiver algum exame de sangue recente, leve-o impresso. - Anotar as medicações que usa diariamente. - Tire foto, anote ou leve os produtos que já tem em casa. - Tire fotos de lesões que costumam aparecer e desaparecer rapidamente. - Evite maquiagens pesadas no dia da consulta, preferindo uso de apenas protetor solar. - Lavar o cabelo no dia anterior a consulta. - Retirar esmalte e/ou gel para que possamos avaliar as unhas. - Ir com roupas leves e fáceis de tirar e colocar pois vamos precisar avaliar todo o corpo. Hi, I’m Christina. 💖 I haven’t done an intro in ages, but I had some encouragement to #LevelUpShowUp, so here I am. Hello! I’m a portrait and wedding photographer but I like to dabble in food, lifestyle, interiors, and product photography. I’ll shoot just about anything as long as it has personality and there’s good light✨! I’ve been taking photos for forever, but took my business full time in January 2019. It was a scary leap, but I love it and haven’t looked back. Big thanks to everyone that trusts me with my camera! I moved to Sacramento in 2008 to study photo at Sac State, and fell in love with the river, trees, and my college roommate, Anna, and have been here ever since. Anna and I moved into our first home last November. I’m grateful every single day that we live here and moved in before a global pandemic. It’s pretty crazy! Anna’s an amazing cook. I love taking photos of her cooking and then eating it. I am currently booking socially distanced photo sessions this fall, and 2021 weddings. Você pode sentir vontade de emagrecer, engordar, fazer plástica, alisar o cabelo… O que é cruel com você mesma é você achar que só depois dessas coisas você pode viver, ser feliz ou usar ou fazer algo. Lembre-se sempre, que se amar é algo de dentro pra fora, não o contrário.Que autoestima é um exercício da mente, diário – não do corpo. E que sim, você vai ter dias bons e ruins nessa trajetória. Sempre fui muito discreta e não falo muito e nem posto momentos difíceis da minha vida. Até porque isso tudo aqui se torna tão insignificante depois de tudo que passamos. National Velvet is by far my all-time favorite movie. I loved horses from an early age and my family owned a few through my middle school years. It’s probably what drew me to the movie so much in the beginning. As I’ve gotten older, it’s the message that appeals to me the most. If you haven’t seen the movie, Velvet goes on to accomplish something that was taboo at the time. I just love the story because it shows if you’re determined enough to accomplish something and willing to put in the work, even ordinary people can accomplish great things. If you’ve met me, you definitely know I’m determined to continue growing. I strive to improve my guest experience and technique every day so I can show up better for all of you. I never really know what to say when old acquaintances say, “It looks like you’re doing well!” I mean, I am. I’m fine. But social media is still the highlight reel, folks. Some days are better than others. 💻 I’m going to be honest, I never wanted to be own my boss. The business side scares me and makes me feel frustrated. But I LOVE being a photographer, working with people, and photographing them. I tried working for a corporate photography company (Kiddie Kandids) but I hated how strict they were with how I posed clients, that I had to rush clients through 15mins sessions and push their biggest packages plus extras (for only 6 images that I actually took). I didn’t like that I couldn’t develop a personal relationship with the clients I was working with. My husband has been one of my biggest supporters in letting me know I can be both a photographer AND a business owner. With being a business owner (and my own employee) I have very high expectations for myself of what I provide my clients. I continually take classes and workshops to better myself as a business owner and photographer. Even though I never planned to be my own boss, I’m happy that I am. Os pacientes começaram a trazer reflexões não habituais, se questionaram muito, se perguntaram quem eles são afinal, e eu, no meu íntimo, compartilhando dessas questões na minha vida pessoal e levando pra minha terapia (que também está online). 🔹 Hoje ainda temos uma grande incerteza de como será daqui pra frente. So a ‘13 inch laptop’ for example, has a 13 inch diagonal screen inside, but the length and width would be less than 13 inches. My tip is to always measure the length and width of your laptop if you are trying to determine if it would fit inside of something. Started a thing. The first day was today. A theater program for kids in my town. Feels super awesome to get outside and make theatre happen in a small and Covid-safe way ❤️. Ser diferente es algo tan normal pero a la vez resulta extraño ante el gran jurado... Dependiendo del país, la cultura, la religión incluso la época que te toca vivir hay ciertos estereotipos o características a los que la sociedad somete a un juicio y califica como estético o antiestético, aceptado o rechazado, bueno o malo, según su criterio o gustos, generando #etiquetas que te pueden impulsar o sepultar en los vacíos emocionales más profundo. Dependiendo de la fragilidad de cada persona. Desde hace 4 años, un poco más quizás, desarrolle la condición de Vitiligo,en mi caso, resultado de altos niveles de estrés. No sabía que era una mujer ansiosa, mi personalidad fácilmente me ayudó a disimularlo pero mi cuerpo no soporto más, mi piel me delató y gritó que había que hacer un alto. Hoy mi piel luce diferente al común, para unos es anormal y tratan de disimular su asombro cuando me ven, mientras que otros me expresan con asombro cómo lo acepte tan bien, les confieso que para mí está es la parte más difícil de manejar, cómo responder ante la reacción de los demás. Solo veo mi piel como un lienzo con varios matices, pinceladas que me recuerdan cuan debil soy y de quién dependo, que en mis fuerzas no llegare muy lejos. Esto puede ser una condición temporal o tal vez permanente, Solo Dios sabe pues a Él le encomiendo todo afán y El me sostiene. Responsablemente hago mi parte, he incorporado cambios saludables en mi alimentación, estilo de vida, crecimiento emocional y espiritual. Aunque en ocasiones no resulta fácil y me descuido,pues noblemente un pequeño enrojecimiento funciona como alerta y retomo mis pausas. Hoy celebro ser diferente porque mi diferencia forma parte de un propósito más grande! Há um ano a CORA nasceu oficialmente, a conversa inicial aconteceu um pouco antes, no início de agosto do mesmo ano, entre as amigas @samigarla e @elketiedt. Does anyone love to plan so much that they make plans to plan? 😂 When do you make most of your plans? What is something that you just have to plan for now because it makes you feel so much better? ✨⁣ ⁣ For me planning my workouts and meals for the week keeps me much more accountable! And I find that the more I plan and batch my tasks for the week, I am so much more productive and I can make time for things like family, self care and just relaxingggg ✨ It’s the reason why I made these beautiful planners.
