Together, we changed Long Island politics. I want to take this opportunity to thank our staff, our supporters, interns and community groups that supported our campaign. With each obstacle, you rose to the challenge and showed our community that change is not only possible, but necessary. Together, we showed our district what an equitable world could look like. The 1st of September was the most devastating day that myself and my sister’s have ever had to endure. Our mother, Ayako Tanaka, passed away in our arms at 09:03 am. We are so thankful that we were able to make it in time to Japan before her passing. We were only able to communicate with her for one day as her condition declined rapidly due to the aggressive nature of this particular rare form of Thymic cancer. The disease had spread to multiple organs all over her body but she ultimately passed away from lung cancer and being unable to breathe. Our determination was to be by our mother’s side and we feel immense gratitude that we were able to spend her final days together. Thank you to everyone who donated to our mother. However, as circumstances have changed and a medical plane is no longer needed, we wish to refund the donations you have so kindly given, in due course. We would sincerely like to thank everyone who has helped and supported us in any way on this immensely difficult journey. We are completely overwhelmed with the deepest gratitude. Але що мене дивує, це коли «сірі мишки» розпочинають свій «блогерський шлях». Воно може навіть і нічого: людям притаманні зміни, а самореалізація ніколи не була поганою стороною, але коли ти бачиш людину в сторіс, а потім зустрічаєш її на вулиці і це - дві різні людини, чи не виникає в тебе відчуття що тебе обманюють? Звісно, дволикість та «синдром хамелеона» в якість мірі присутні в майже кожній людині, але якщо йдеться про чийсь Lifestyle, ти ж хочеш бачити який він насправді. От чесно, від щирого серця обожнюю людей, які показують себе такими, які вони є насправді, без наслідування чужого стилю, манер, думок, без накрутки лайків та «прозоро чесних» giveaway. Просто ти і твій світ, без реклами і сюжетів по сценарію, без зайвого пафосу та показовості. Люблю людей, які не переступають через себе, усвідомлення того ким вони є, а ким вони мають стати для того чи іншого посту в соціальних мережах. Люблю людей, які не ведуться на «вона схудла і мені треба», «вона поїхала на Балі, блін, і мені звідти треба фоточку», «вона обмоталась в подушку, а мені ж теж треба», «фото в коробці набрало 20к лайків, піду і собі залізу в коробку»… (ну тут може і лукавлю трошки, на Балі, і не тільки туди, я б поїхала, та й схуднути непогано було б, але це МОЇ власні бажання). Цікаво спостерігати за друзями, яким є що показати чи розповісти, є чим поділитись, і які постійно розвиваються, подорожують, надихають, готують, фотографують і просто кайфують від життя. Завдяки вам щодня можу отримати свій шматочок естетичної насолоди. As árvores desempenham um papel essencial na conservação de ecossistemas, biomas e no abrigo de toda a nossa biodiversidade. São responsáveis por proteger os solos e nascentes da luz solar, realizar a manutenção do ar e da umidade, além de servirem como fonte de alimento e abrigo para diversas espécies de animais. Sem contar que elas são lindas demais, né? Por falar nisso, vocês já ouviram falar do Baobá? 😍 Já viram algum de perto? Essa árvore de origem africana faz morada no nosso estado com mais de 130 pés espalhados por aqui, definindo Pernambuco como o lugar de maior concentração de Baobás fora do continente Africano. Legal, né? Essa espécie pode chegar a seis mil anos de idade, é chamada de árvore da vida e representa para o povo africano, liberdade e resistência. Só em Recife existem 13 dessas árvores tombadas, sendo mais conhecido o da Praça da República, que já virou modelo famoso com fotos incríveis do seu tronco. Então, vamos todo mundo cuidar do que é importante pra o futuro da gente?! E da próxima vez que tu vier à Pernambuco, tira uma foto bem linda num baobá e marca a gente!
