Pilsumer Leuchtturm (Anzeige) ——————————————— Moin Ihr Lieben! Ostfriesland ohne den Pilsumer Leuchtturm kann man sich gar nicht vorstellen, oder? Ich glaube es gibt kaum ein bekannteres Wahrzeichen in Ostfriesland. Und spätestens nach Szenen im Otto-Film oder Tatort ist er auch über die ostfriesischen Grenzen hinweg bekannt. . Hier ein paar Fakten: Der Leuchtturm wurde schon 1891 erstellt und war für die Beleuchtung der Fahrrinne zwischen Borkum und Emden zuständig. Zum ersten Weltkrieg wurde er mit anderen Leuchttürmen der Region außer Betrieb genommen, um den feindlichen Schiffen keine Hinweise über den Seeweg zu geben. 1973 wurde der 11m hohe Turm dann komplett saniert und das erste mal rot-gelb angemalt, 15 Jahre später hat die Deichacht Krummhörn den Leuchtturm übernommen und kümmert sich seitdem um seinen Erhalt. Verrückt, wenn man darüber nachdenkt, was man über die Jahre von da oben schon alles sehen konnte, oder? . Mittlerweile ist er ein beliebtes Touristenziel und sogar heiraten kann man im Leuchtturm. . . Letzte Woche haben wir bei unserer Fahrradtour durch Ostfriesland natürlich auch in Pilsum Halt gemacht. Tem passeio de vagoneta nos molhes da barra. Você tbm pode ir no navio Altair , que encalhou em 1976 e se encontra a beira mar . Caminhar , pedalar , contemplar a natureza . Aqui se pode unir todas estas coisas. Ah e aqui também tem algo bem diferente ⬇️ Os carros estacionam na beira mar . Sim! Isto mesmo! Você pode passear por ela de carro durante todo o ano . Na alta temporada , os agentes de trânsito sinalizam a praia, pois o movimento é intenso. ⚠️No momento a Praia está fechada devido a pandemia . // New Car Park Facility At Luggala // A new car park facility has opened close to the Luggala estate/ Lough Tay (Guinness Lake) in the Wicklow uplands this weekend. FREE to use, it is OPEN on weekends only from 9am-6pm. This announcement follows the recent opening of a similar parking facility in the village of Laragh to serve visitors to Laragh, Glendalough, the Wicklow Mountains National Park and nearby walking trails. Wicklow Uplands Council calls upon members of the public to avail of these facilities and to not park on double yellow lines or in gateways and entrances to forests, farms, private residences or commercial premises. Hi, a bit of info about this page. I started up this page exactly three years ago as I could not find any local pages on social media with the news and info I was looking for. I had been in the area for a few years and was also keen to share with others the beautiful community in which we live. And I’ve always wanted to be a journalist! I have to admit, I don’t have time for many things. This season seem to prove over & over again how important it is to plan, schedule and say ‘no’ to things that do not serve me anymore. It also showed that by not sticking to my old ways, I can still have time to do things that I love doing: 🌊 I don’t have time to take a long holiday, but I make time for a weekend off & damn I appreciate it! 👣 I don’t have time for long workouts, but I make time for short yoga sessions each day (even if I have to do them in a stock room of our office space). ❤️ I’m away from my son for around six hours each day, but the rest of my time is dedicated to him fully. Thus, even as a working mom I get a chance to have lots of quality time with him. I don’t have to sacrifice one to have the other. 📓 I don’t have time to read for hours, but I do have some spare minutes for a book with my morning coffee & you bet I always make it happen 💪🏻 🧖♀️ I don’t have a lot of time for myself, but I book a Thai massage every once in a while to make-up for it. This might not sound like a lot, but these are the things I swear by. I don’t think that anyone needs to give up all the pleasures in order to have a successful career & a family. You can & you should ‘have it all’, but taking care of yourself throughout the journey is a must. Even if you can only dedicate 10 minutes for your needs – don’t feel bad, embrace it, set the right intention & you will see that small things can make a huge difference. ⏱ - @kotrynabass on Instagram
