He had met some aunties at the market who were doing their grocery shopping, and about to head home on their bicycles. He invited them to cycle - any bicycle also can 🚴🏻‍♀️🚴🏻 Today, these seniors cycle long distances and even overseas. It just takes that first step. 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲: 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝟲⠀ ⠀ In March, we (and probably you, too) went fully-remote. Its now September and some companies have extended WFH until 2021. Its been an adjustment, especially for someone like me who thrives on routine.⠀ ⠀ Some lessons learned in these 6 months:⠀⠀ 1️⃣ Trigger the start of my work day. I still get ready, eat breakfast in the kitchen, and then bring my coffee upstairs to begin my day. Our commute and office used to tell our brain its time to work. Anything to replicate that trigger will help signal its time to be productive. 2️⃣ Dont feel bad about saying Im audio-only today. Video meetings were fun at first but now...🙃.⠀ ⠀ My CEO recently said Hey, theres an unfair expectation for women to look pulled together on-screen while men can throw on a tshirt. Feel free to go sans makeup in glasses and a ponytail some days. ⠀ ⠀ Super #woke and sweet, but no thanks. I DO enjoy going audio-only sometimes, though. Not worrying about how I look allows me to concentrate on the 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵 of the meeting. Im actually sharper when the videos off. 3️⃣⠀Keep a running to-do list, but be okay if theres carry over to the next day. I find myself much more scattered and unorganized than when Im in the office, probably because of all of the chats, channels, calls, etc. Old-school written lists are my saviors. ⠀ I used to work for a healthcare company, and my director was a no-nonsense Vietnam vet. He came in my office one day to ask how I was doing because I was always working late. Okay, just behind. He said You will never feel caught up, so the more comfortable you are with being behind the happier youll be. Ever since Ive been okay with leaving things on my to-do list for the next day.❤️ ⠀ 4️⃣ Embrace flexibility. I get severe video-meeting-fatigue by around 4pm most days, and its hard to switch gears. Ive found that it helps to call it at that point, and have some personal time until after dinner. Picking work back up for a couple hours in the evening is actually really nice, quiet, productive time after I reset my brain. - @6ftfit on Instagram

Be it a night with fam or roomates.. this combo is a winner! The City of Palo Alto Public Art Program seeks Palo Alto and Bay Area-based artists and graphic designers to submit qualifications for an upcoming temporary mural art project in our University Avenue and California Avenue districts. Selected artists will develop and submit designs for temporary artwork that will be reproduced and installed. This is a pilot project that invites artists to create works of art exploring themes of resiliency, empathy, healing, cultural diversity and vibrancy. It’s finally almost Friday 😋✨ I want to talk a bit about my experience with food sensitivities. For some people this is a major part of gut healing, you need to take out the things that are irritating your system in the first place. I’m someone who deals with a chronic condition I have gone through various diet types and a pretty intense elimination diet as well. While these types of diets can be beyond helpful, I know from experience how frustrating these can be and how hard they can be to follow at times. Sometimes you feel guilty or even annoying because you can’t have certain foods, but here is 3 things to remember ... 1. This is probably not a life long thing. Unless you have a serious allergy you typically just have to avoid things temporarily but you will adjust and find what you like. It’s genuinely is not the end of the world if you take cheese out of your diet for a month, you will start to find things you like and you’ll be able to put it back in slowly and not suffer like you did before. 2. You are doing this for a PURPOSE. Let your motivation be how good you start to feel and don’t let anyone make you feel awkward or guilty about something you are doing to help your health. 3. Food anxiety is a real thing, don’t make yourself feel guilty for slipping up sometimes. It’s so easy to get obsessive and nervous all the time. An Open Letter to Black Women About Mental Health By: @minaa_b Dear Black Women: Yes, you are queens. Yes, you are magical. Yes, you are strong and yes, you have a resilient heart that is capable of enduring pain and surpassing any struggle. But I want you to know that above all else, you are human, and mental health is a serious illness that does not discriminate. Despite popular belief, it is not a white people problem, and our young black boys and young black girls are also susceptible to this growing epidemic consisting of physical and mental dysfunction and maladaptive behaviors. Mental illness has no remorse, and once it enters you, it will try to strip you of your crown and your strength will not be identified with how independent you are or how successful you become. I want you to know that it is OK to struggle; it is OK for you to not have it all together, it is OK for you to feel weak and it is OK for you to admit to the universe that you cant do life on your own. Black women, your life is deserving of its best chance; please step out of your own way. I want you to know that you have nothing to be ashamed of. You are worthy, you are loved and your life is worth fighting for. As a black woman who has come face-to-face with my own mental health struggles, I understand that it is not easy, but taking the necessary steps to get to a place of whole-hearted living and healing will be the most rewarding thing you can do for your soul. Позже узнала, что эти штучки назывались - КАМИФУБУКИ. ⠀ Они имели хороший потенциал: были разных цветов и размеров, создавали большую вариативность дизайнов и самое приятное были недорогими. ⠀ Тогда то и родилась идея заказать много-много из Китая, и предложить продавать их крупным игрокам рынка. Но, для этого нужно было дождаться партию, расфасовать и придумать бренд! Так и появился наш Neltes😍 Помню как фасовали их пока руки не отсохли, помню наклеечки с пионами на баночках. ⠀ А еще помню, какой бум это произвело на рынке!
