Yet another heavy shot from @_jamesagould of the finale B2B2B with @jimmy_decent @djmadamx and myself at the last @ghosttownseries. I’m gutted to say we had some insane plans for early May collaborating with a major UK company which I’m sure would have blown Coventry away completely, however we already had early suspicions and worries about the circulating news about Covid-19 in Wuhan, and once we knew it had hit UK shores we knew we’d not be able to pull off a huge show as it would be putting our crowd and their family’s at risk! You people who come and support what we do are the main reason we do this and we would never want to see you unhappy. Community is everything right now, and I hope people have taken a second to reflect on actually how lucky we all are in our lives and that we should be making bigger sacrifices in life to both the earth and the communities that need the support. Today is your birthday. I had to go through my phone to just reminisce on all of the memories we’ve shared. From binge watching Game of Thrones, our almost daily trips to Golf Park, hanging out with all the guys at Kenwood... to now. It’s so crazy to where we are now. Having done many “Musings” shootings by now, in the most different conditions - from shooting with bedside lamps, to tiny bathtubs, to the most beautiful natural light living rooms - i gotta tell you, shooting outdoors seems to have a whole other magic. Of course that shooting in a place, where the person you are with, feels more comfortable is a big plus - and that’s usually indoors, away from any possible curious eyes - but, doing it outdoors, in Nature, there seems to be a different sense of freedom, i would even say a sense of belonging! #nationaldogday Sancho llegó a nuestas vidas con tan sólo 7 semanas. Tenía el rabito cortado, le daban miedo los ruidos de la ciudad (venía de un pueblo de Granada) y era un diablillo. Comenzó a crecer, a madurar, y se convirtió en un apoyo fundamental de nuestra pequeña familia -no sé qué hubiera sido esta cuarentena sin él-. 2020 llegó cargado de malas vibraciones y fue este año cuando él tenía ya 3 y medio que descubrimos que sufre de #epilepsia , en mes y medio tuvo 4 crisis con convulsiones y posteriores pérdida de consciencia, confusión, ceguera temporal e hiperactividad. Gracias a @chelsealeyland estamos optando por una terapia natural de #CBD para tratar su enfermedad e intentar reducir las crisis. Sancho es nuestro mayor regalo, mejor amigo y compañero fiel. One of the first toys I got for my son 5 years ago was a classic stacking cup toy. He used to play with the cups on the way and at the play date. Nowadays, he still takes the cups with him in bath. It’s that kind of toy you want to have in your bag permanently. Back then it wasn’t a pretty looking toy, but I didn’t care much. But look at this one! Mushie made it pretty looking and fun! This girl right here spent 365 days bickering with me, majorly. Please meet Vanitha Rangarajan Jha, if you havent. So, here is the thing about VRJ. She and me ended up sharing the CGDs office for one year, and thats not all that we shared. We shared a group, non stop reminders, and many memories together - whether it was on the dais as elected CGDs in 2019 May, requesting pretzels with Feed Me written on Napkins on the way to Denver, or whether it was doing the Helping Hands together, or whether making endless Dashboards and plans, or the nailbiting moments of her elections, or just living her weird one selfie per event rule. Conversely, she wakes up early, I sleep late. She plans 250 days in advance, I plan a day at a time. People around us just saw the dance of 2 CGDs trying to figure where we would end up breaking each others heads, as we are as different as chalk and cheese. Here’s two book themed pieces. Megan asked a million years ago (5, 6?) for a woodpecker with a matchstick and dynamite as a nod to one of her favorite books, Still Life with Woodpecker by Tom Robbins. Here’s said book and tattoo, all cozy in quarantine. I’ve done most of Megan’s legs, but you can see a nice piece by @alicerules right above the woodpecker, and a @makoto.chi peeking out from the back of the other thigh, two tattooers I admire greatly. Generally I try to avoid the generic instagram posts, but after reading about this one it seemed worthwhile to get involved. Do I think this black & white photo will make a difference to how women are treated in Turkey? No. Unfortunately not. But seeing other people’s posts made me read more about it, and I’m now aware of an issue that I had no idea about. And education and awareness are a vital first step in creating change. For those who aren’t yet aware, this trend began as a way to highlight the huge issue of femicide (abuse & murder of women) in Turkey. @ashleyavci did a fantastic post summarising this so instead of repeating it all here I’ll share her post in my story & tag her so you can learn more (thanks for all your wisdom @ashleyavci). I also support the broader meaning that this post has taken on - women are just amazing, and I’m so lucky to have so many epic women in my life who inspire and empower me. I hope together we can all keep learning, lifting each other up & creating positive change.
