🔥 Transformation Tuesday 🔥 Tracie is an OG at Burn Boot Camp South County💥 After trying different home videos and big box gyms to stay in shape, she just never could find the right fit. Some of her coworkers told her about a local Burn opening up near her, so she figured shed give it a try. Shortly before the South County opening, I experienced a miscarriage. I was emotionally drained and needed an outlet to put myself and my health first. The diverse protocol and motivating atmosphere is one that cannot be replicated. I have never been bored or had an “easy” camp. Through Burn, I found a community that pushes me to be better, both physically and mentally. Through focus meetings, I have learned how to fuel my body and enjoy meals versus having a fear of food. I have lost a number of inches all over and have more endurance and strength than I did at my previous peak fitness level. My confidence has immensely improved as well. Mixed Pickle recipe by @aysens.kitchen Ingredients: For 5 liter jar, My additions: Cucumber Carrot Cauliflower Cabbage A few red hot peppers if you want bitter 1 head of garlic Half a bunch of parsley lemon (optional) You can add any vegetables you want. Take care to use fresh, hard and delicious vegetables in pickling. For the brine: 2.2 liter of drinking water 300ml grape vinegar 3/4 tablespoons (slightly less than a tablespoon) lemon salt 7 tablespoons of pickled salt (rock salt) 1 handful of chickpeas Preparation: 1.Wash the vegetables in plenty of water and drain their excess water. Take the tips of the cucumbers and drill a hole or two. Peel the carrots and cut them into two or three pieces. Take the hard part of the cabbage and cut it into large pieces. Separate cauliflowers into flowers. 2.Add chickpeas to the bottom of the jar that will provide the pickle to ripen quickly. Start placing the vegetables in order. Sprinkle garlic on the intermediate layers.Place parsley on top. 3.Next, add vinegar, salt, lemon salt into 2.2 liter of water and mix until the salt dissolves. (I add some boiled water so that the salt melts more easily) 4.Fill the water in the jar. If the water is not enough, add drinking water to it until it is completely filled. Close the lid of the pickle tightly. 5.Keep it in a sunless place for 20-30 days and start consuming after the vegetables are ripe. Good morning! I havent posted over here in months, I know 🙈 but Ive definitely still been busy and making things like crazy! Ive been having a great time over at @fellowceramics and finding fulfillment and fun. Im still planning to restock my Madewell goodies as often as possible through September, if youre in need of a monomal or dream companion planter! I also have a custom project that Ive been working on for over a year (this poor client has been so patient) and will be finishing that soon. After that, my tentative plan is to operate primarily through Fellow Ceramics. I will likely use this account for experimental art that fills that need for magical fairy dust type work, but I wont be relying on the magical work as a regular source of income. This brand has been challenging for me from the beginning, and it never feels like Im getting it quite right. Theres a lot of self imposed pressure and perfectionism at play there. Im loving the light hearted fun in my Fellows, and I hope youll join me over there if you havent already! Who knows, I may come back swinging over here to S+B, and Im certainly open to whatever it is the universe has in store for me. I do have ideas for SB, but theyre more on the fancy, one of a kind side.
