- Hot crossed buns! My daughter (14) has been tending a sourdough starter for two weeks. Today she finally was able to make her first batch of sourdough buns. She did it all from start to finish, they are really good and I’m very proud of her.

- Attempted laminating chocolate croissant dough with regular croissant dough. Think Ill add more cocoa powder next time for a darker colour, and glaze them before baking, but other than that pretty happy with results. (some were filled with a choc/raspberry almond cream)


- For my first attempt at a plaited challah, I of course decided to dive right in with a 6-strand loaf. Leavener with my sourdough starter, no commercial yeast added. Im just so happy with how it turned out, and I think its going to make a kick-ass slice of French toast here in a minute..
