Winds reached a maximum of 90 MPH at Kalmus Beach in Hyannis. You can see the power this tornado brought by knocking over a sturdy tree into the roadway, taking out a car in the process. Black Lives Matter! ☕️ The Capitol Hill Organized Protest (CHOP, formerly known as CHAZ) is an ongoing protest space and hotspot for organizing in Seattle established June 8th. Activists, organizers, artists, and more have gathered in community at the CHOP to provide mutual aid, share resources, create conversation spaces, lead marches, celebrate, mourn, and so much more. Our Seattle Direct Store Delivery team has been grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the CHOP with donations of Fair Foods, coffee brewing equipment (can you imagine protesting for weeks without easy access to coffee?), and more. Food and beverage tents are an abundant and essential feature in the CHOP, and occasionally you might even spy some Equal Exchange nuts or @grizzliesbrand granola among the offerings.
