Instead she walked a different fate, the one that must have drawn her. In another split second the route may have altered, and immediate fate may have changed, for example if her stride had momentarily faltered, her life would be rearranged. Imagine further that she took both routes, in a parallel existence. The alterations so small that you cant compute, but the consequence huge in difference. The separate paths would co-travel, and never the twain would meet. but a final reckoning will unravel, to make the destination complete. Someone contacted me recently out of the blue (and for self promotional reasons). This individual is neither a friend nor someone I know well. When she asked how I was doing (and I replied with a favorable response) she seized an opportunity to accuse me of possessing “white privilege”. (She’s also white btw.) This photo was taken in 2012 by the brilliant @isaktiner_photography . We had a quick break while shooting Ben Vereen and Isak snapped a lightning fast photo. It’s a great image but if you look closely at my eyes you’ll see one thing: ANGUISH. My life was rapidly falling apart and I had no support. I felt completely alone, was losing everything I had ever known as a reality and the only thing I could do was suffer. I would spend 6 years in therapy (once I could afford it and occasionally with multiple professionals) eventually learning that hell is a gifted teacher. If someone is doing ok in life there should never be an assumption that they haven’t worked damn hard to earn that space. Suffering isn’t selective and the fact that I’m in a good place now doesn’t mean my heart doesn’t bleed for those who aren’t. - @jennishawmakeup on Instagram

1999 Glastonbury- flew in with Stipe (@rem 🦥 headlined an amazing set ) We’d spent a few days in London which is why I wrote his home state of “Georgia “ on my stomach , My forever peach 🍑 . I wanted to see my old friend Joe Strummer and his band play . We were in a British military helicopter🚁 , I loved it! I took helicopters to festivals after that. (We’d) played big U.K. festivals before but I was in better health that year. I felt a lot of spirit and happiness move within me and my band , and can remember it vividly .. really being transported to giving myself over to that fantastic , smiling crowd. 💖 Feeling like I’m doing the one thing I truly love .. which is to deliver the message whatever form that takes within. You have to have a lot of confidence to hit that Glastonbury main stage 💗 I remember lots of girls rushing the stage and dragging them up , and tolerant , nice security guys there at the farm . Have to admit to getting a bit of a shock when I opened the paper today to see this rather large photo (oh and hi there @kerrie_mccallum). So seems as good a time as any to confirm my role at work is expanding and I am now editor-in-chief of not just Stellar, but also Body+Soul and bodyandsoul.com.au. It’s been a difficult time for the industry these past few months and I am very sad to see so many talented people in the media lose their jobs. But I am so proud of my amazing team at @stellarmag for continuing to produce a well, stellar, product every week during lockdown - and beyond - without missing a beat. И наше видео на эту тему(кстати самое популярное на канале), где мы сделали и дорожные испытания и замеры на диностенде, видимо не вызывает доверия. Странно... Так от куда же берутся дополнительные лошадки, если ничего не меняется, кроме выхлопа? На видео показана продувка нашего нового коллектора для #smartfortwo , далее стоковый коллектор для #smart451, далее стоковый #выпускнойколлектор от #smart453. Во-первых, внутренний диаметр труб намного больше стока, во-вторых сама форма такая, что при выпкске отработанных газов из одного цилиндра возникает разряжение на выпуске других цилиндров. Тем самым, в тот момент когда открывается выпускной клапан, давление в выпуске ниже и больше выхлопных газов выходит из цилиндра, т.е. цилиндр сильнее опустошается, соответственно в момент впуска в цилиндр заходит больше свежей смеси. Т.е. повышается КОЭФФИЦИЕНТ НАПОЛНЕНИЯ. От суда и прибавка. The news that Anya Taylor-Joy will play Illyana Rasputin, aka Magik, in Foxs New Mutants movie is good news for superhero fans with a love for characters with confusing backstories. In a franchise where obtuse is the norm, Magiks comic book history stands out as an early example of just how strange things could get. Illyanas first appearance was underwhelming. Her brief cameo in 1975s Giant-Size X-Men No. 1 wasnt intended to establish her as anything more than someone for Colossus — her older brother — to save, revealing his super powers in the process. She wouldnt even get a name for another six years, when she was kidnapped from her home in the Soviet Union and brought to the U.S. as a hostage to be rescued, once again, by Colossus in 1981s Uncanny X-Men Nos. 145-147. As a result of that storyline, Illyana Rasputin ended up in the care of the X-Men. This Illyana was a pre-teen and, as such, an odd fit for the Uncanny X-Men series as a whole; she could inspire in-universe fairy tales that would become fan-favorites, but otherwise, she seemed superfluous … until 1982s Uncanny X-Men No. 160 brought about the first of her strange transformations.
