***Sensitive post*** The news we received from my bloodwork on friday to determine the outcome of our IVF transfer was unfortunately not in our favor, my levels were too low to confirm a pregnancy. We made the decision to test again Monday. Todays results unfortunately were just a confirmation from Fridays test, but lower. We/they dont what happened...But I know I did everything in my power that one could do during this, I followed everything I was advised to do. We do want to say Thank you to everyone, we had a tremendous amount of support and I mean an overwhelming outpouring of love to us during this time. It has not gone unnoticed or unappreciated. So, whats next?... We dont know just yet whats next for us as that was our only normal embryo from the egg retrieval. This process took a toll on me, the last 2 years have taken a toll on me and Chad as well. We havent just done IVF, we have done everything leading up to and then IVF. I need time, hell we BOTH need time to heal, time to process and we need time to figure out whats next for US, whats right for us.This just wasnt our time, and I know this is in Gods hands. ✨✨✨✨ Today I turn 25 years old. For me today feels significant as I am moving further into my mother phase of life, and leaving my maiden phase further behind. I don’t say this very often but I feel some shame around being a ‘young mother’ But when I actually look at those thoughts, I see they are not mine but societal ones I just pick up from time to time. These thoughts have lead me to reflect how odd it is that it seems ‘socially acceptable’ to have children during this tiny age bracket of what we are actually able to create life. Anyway, this is not what I actually intended to share today - what I wanted to share was my intention for this next rotation around the sun. My dear friend and sister Amor asked me yesterday and I didn’t have an answer, but I feel like after much reflection my intention moving into this next year/phase is to B E G I N . This past year was all about reprogramming and settling into motherhood. But now it is time to begin all that I desire to create. To let go of my self judgement and the judgement from others I imagine. I choose here and now to commit to myself, to begin over and over until I find my flow. I grateful to be born at this time of the year, in a time of inward reflection yet also hopeful emergent energy.
