I just finished this epic new kite-foilboard. 33”•16.5”. 3.2lb ready to ride with traction. It is paulownia wood, with Osage orange and black locust accents, and a beautiful satin finish. Cork rails, and cork deck. The deck is laser-etched with graphics that are generated algorithmically by a computer program that I wrote. 𝗪 𝐀 𝐍 𝐃 𝐄 𝐑 𝐋 𝐔 𝐒 𝐓 A travel inspired surfboard! This is going to be a double post because I ended up fitting so much detail I couldn’t even fit all of the photos on just one 😁 My client gave me so much freedom to improvise and create my own interpretations of travel themed artwork that I went a little wild with my details! 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 : At the top there is a compass, of course surrounded by a mandala. I like to keep any existing art visible on the board, which is why there is an SC, which stands for South Coast—the company that made this board. Surrounding that are paper airplanes to represent travel, along with a ton of detail work, which also includes a hidden “𝘞𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘭𝘶𝘴𝘵” The next part is the world map which is LITERALLY by biggest freehand accomplishment to date!!! I didn’t want to use my brain when attempting the shapes of the countries, I only wanted to use my eyes. So instead of drawing this right side up, I drew the whole thing upside down 🙃 I thought it would be fun to do a bunch of different travel scenes that could be placeholders for anywhere in the world, so represented is a mountain range, a jungle, a beach, and a desert! When designing this board I was sitting on an airplane next to Sean, and he had the idea to make it seem like you are looking at these scenes from the inside of an airplane or a train, so they are meant to be like you’re traveling and looking out the window! Lastly, the tail of the board has artwork of travel suitcases and a globe. There are stickers on the suitcases of places my client has actually traveled to before including Florence, Peru, Rhode Island, New York City, Venice, and Los Angeles! I am not perfect, but I do try to do my part in doing what’s best for cleaning up the Earth. Instead of buying new surfboards to create art, I decided to take old, beat up boards that have been loved hard and locally surfed in San Diego and up cycle them to create custom artwork. Day 17: When I was eleven years old, I hit a patch of gravel on this hill, causing the board and my feet to be swept out from under me. I took the impact with my shoulder giving me a deep scrape. The wound developed into a keloid scar which became raised to about a centimeter. I was so self-conscious about this scar that I wouldnt take my shirt off in public. About twenty years later and a fair amount of soul-searching and some therapy, Ive discovered (among many other things) that I seem to suffer from both body dysmorphia and gender dysphoria. Its been a hell of a time trying to understand and identify these feelings and trying to distinguish the two. Theyve pushed me to question everything I know, including my deepest feelings about God, the nature of the world and humanity, and the societal structures which attempt to shape and mold them. Although there is still much work to be done, there is a certain freedom to understanding my own nature on a deeper level, to understand why I find the image of my own shadow debilitating, why Ive had to compulsively ritualize my actions to avoid nakedness in front of others and why there has always seemed to be this barrier between others and myself that I cant seem to surmount. Understanding and beginning to overcome these things takes honesty to report the facts as you seem to have experienced them, open-mindedness to other peoples viewpoints—particularly of those who have made some sort of progress with similar problems and willingness to take the action implied. Its hard, uncomfortable and embarassing—but I cant stress enough the importance of trying to find clarity through some sort of objectivity and counsel with others. Its hard, but its worth it. So, my team and I keep talking about this theory we have that I need to let you in on🧐 So we’ve been seeing an INFLUX of newly diagnosed clients reach out/ enroll in our coaching programs more than ever these past 6 months. Like disproportionately higher than previous coaching years and it makes me wonder if COVID has triggered more T1D diagnosis’s in 2020. But here’s the kicker: none of these newly diagnosed T1D’s we’ve spoken to have had COVID symptoms prior to their T1D diagnosis. But could they just have been asymptomatic? Ao tomar conhecimento da morte de sua esposa, Shiva enfurecido arranca uma mecha de cabelo e joga no chão e é dessa energia de fúria que surge o guerreiro Virabhadra. Uma rajada de poeira e um estrondo ecoam pelos quatro cantos quando Virabhadra se ergue – virabhadrasana I – seu corpo alcançando os céus, seu cabelo flamejante e armas em suas muitas mãos. Com um rugido alto, ele saca sua espada se preparando para o ataque e mirando atentamente seu alvo – virabhadrasana II Num golpe certeiro, decapita, Daksha, o pai de Sita – virabhadrasana III Shiva, ao ver as conseqüências da sua avassaladora fúria, é envolvido por um sentimento de compaixão e decide usar seu poder para reparar a destruição. Feliz por estar vivo, Daksha olha agora para Shiva com respeito e reverência.
