My strategy this week is pretty straight forward: •Plan & prep as much as possible. •Prioritize work & school — IG can wait. •I’m new to the company & I have a LOT of learning to do in order to be proficient in my role. Today is World Pharmacist Day and Stephanie Walker shows there’s much more to this complicated, important and exciting role in our health service. The Gold Coast Health pharmacist has been working for the service for four years and has a special interest in caring for pregnant women and their babies. “I really wanted to be involved in healthcare, I knew that when I was in school and I thought this was definitely an opportunity to be involved in the patient’s health care journey. I love the idea that I could be involved in a specific part by being a medication specialist,” she said. “As pharmacists, we get to be a part of the multidisciplinary team and that’s what I really love – the team aspect to my job. “Working as a hospital pharmacist is really exciting because there’s so many different areas you can be involved in, lots of clinical situations. You certainly learn something new every day.” Stephanie says a big part of the role is understanding that every patient is different. “You don’t just tell a patient to take a tablet and it’ll work in every situation. You have to look deeper and have a holistic approach into how it fits in to that patient’s regime. That’s really important. “Typically, there can be a misconception that we just put labels on bottles, people may not understand fully the depth of impact we can have on their care. “And I think that comes back to the point of working with the multidisciplinary teams, working with speech pathologists to ensure the swallow is okay, working with the medical team to work out the most appropriate medical regime or with the occupational therapists to work out how we are going to get the medication to the patient. “A lot of that may go on behind the scenes and a patient may not realise our involvement.” Shout out to your pharmacist today! - @goldcoast.health on Instagram

2016 👉 2020 #wwambassador I was 26 in the picture on the left and at my heaviest (non pregnant) weight of 195ish lbs. I hated every single picture of myself and ALWAYS had my hands, a drink, a person etc in front of me to try to hide my body as much as possible. I immediately untagged every picture of myself because I hated the way I looked. I had no confidence and no self love. Flash forward ⚡️ to January of 2018 I made one of the best decisions of my life and joined @ww for the first time and the last time! I lost 50 lbs in 6-7 months just following the program and living a healthy lifestyle. Then, last year in 2019 I got pregnant with my second child and gained 50+ back. I rejoined #ww as soon as it was safe again (after delivery) and am on my way back to my goal weight (a weight I agreed upon with my doctor that makes sense for me 😊). I’ve wanted to quit so many times. It’s hard. It’s not quick and it’s not a fast fix. After Dads accident in 88, we kept 962-103 shined up and in its own spot of honor in the Holberts Porsche showroom. Occasionally it would go to a show, or a track event, usually driven there in the care of long time team member Bob Russo. I always assumed we would perpetually hang on to this one, and for two decades it lived prominently in Warrington. I was a bit headspun in 2008, when told Dads trademark ride was sold. In the whole time Matt Drendel owned it, only 1 hour away from my new NC home, I couldnt bring myself to make contact and take the trip to Hickory. Rok 2020 to rok wielkich perturbacji i wyzwań, z którymi musieliśmy się zmierzyć solidarnie na wielu poziomach – gospodarczym, społecznym i zdrowotnym. Na świecie i w Europie próbowano różnych metod, ale recepty na kryzys, które znaleźliśmy w Polsce, okazały się skuteczniejsze, niż gdzie indziej. Wielkim wysiłkiem polskiego rządu, pracodawców, pracowników, lekarzy i instytucji takich, jak Polski Fundusz Rozwoju , Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego i Narodowy Bank Polski stworzyliśmy błyskawiczną odpowiedź – Tarcze Finansową i Antykryzysową, które uratowały naszą gospodarkę i miliony miejsc pracy. 🛡 Aby przekonać się o ich skuteczności – wystarczy spojrzeć na sytuację gospodarczą w innych państwach, przeczytać analizy niezliczonych instytucji finansowych i sięgnąć do prognoz gospodarczych renomowanych światowych instytucji. To wszystko nie obyło się oczywiście bez skutków dla tegorocznego i przyszłorocznego deficytu budżetowego. Zza horyzontu wyłania się rok 2021 i dziś na posiedzeniu Rady Ministrów w Kancelarii Premiera, w duchu odpowiedzialności i z myślą o przyszłości, dyskutowaliśmy nad możliwie najlepszą dla Polski ustawą budżetową. Myślę, że to, co zaproponowaliśmy, stanowi optymalny kompromis pomiędzy możliwościami polskiej gospodarki i zapewnieniem bezpieczeństwa finansowego milionów polskich rodzin. Choć prognozy się zmieniają – nasze cele pozostają niezmienne. Są nimi jak najlepiej płatne miejsca pracy dla Polaków, wsparcie małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw w kraju oraz ich ekspansji międzynarodowej. W poprzednich latach wprowadziliśmy wiele ułatwień dla przedsiębiorców. Zmiany te przyspieszyliśmy w ostatnich miesiącach, a kryzys tylko na chwilę utrudnił nam reformy mające wzmocnić siłę polskich przedsiębiorców. Program, który ogłosiliśmy, jest i będzie realizowany. Mario et Michael Andretti ▪La Mirage M12 est un prototype de course conçue par John Horsman et assemblé dans les ateliers de Howden Ganley et du Tiga en Grande-Bretagne pour concourir dans la nouvelle catégorie #groupC des 24heures du Mans en 1982. Les 2 chassis construits ( M12-001 et M12-002) possède un V8 Ford Cosworth de 3.9 L de cylindrée. Bien que le bolide étais jugé un peu lourd, son aérodynamique avancé à laide de la nouvelle découverte de leffet de sol lui permettait datteindre les 340km/h en ligne droite. Ainsi, Harley Cluxton, propriétaire du GTC ayant racheté Gulf Research Racing (ou autrefois appelé John Wyer Automotive) engagea un seul modèle pour lépreuve mancelle (la deuxième voiture étais uniquement présente en tant que voiture de rechange). Coté équipage, le Champion du Monde de Formule 1 #MarioAndretti 1978 prendra part à létape accompagné de son fils Michael. Mais, malgré le 9ème temps des essais, le bolide sera disqualifié 20minutes avant le départ de lépreuve! En effet, le radiateur dhuile étant situé derrière la boîte de vitesse, se trouva non conforme par les commissaires, alors que lauto avait passé les vérifications techniques 4 jours plus tôt sans problème...Cette incident causa ainsi larrêt du programme pour le GTC et la chute de Mirage. . . . All of us at Spring Mountain are saddened to hear of the passing of our good friend Terry Goodkind on September 17th, 2020. As a #1 New York Times Bestselling Author of more than 30+ novels with 26 million books sold worldwide, Terry would come to Spring Mountain with his wife Jeri to escape from the world. His public image dissipated as soon as he drove through our gates to enter his own personal playground. Not only was Terry a Rahl Racing team owner, but he also exercised his love for racing by competing in the Radical USA Cup and the SMMR Light Sport Racer Series. Terry loved visiting Spring Mountain with his wife and their dog, Zimmer, as well as enjoyed offering anyone a ride in his Radical SR8. When he was in the Spring Mountain Racing shop, Terry always made the mood lighter and more entertaining. He was much more than a club member, a racer, or even an author; he was family. There was no question of Terry’s genuine character and sure love for his passions, from writing to racing, and everything in between. In the words of Terry Goodkind himself: “Life is the gift each of us has been given. Each life is our own and no one else’s. It is precious beyond all counting. It is the greatest value we can have. 8 year difference ☝️ .. 🌺Photos were taken in the same month but different years. Different mindset and body but it all started with a belief. A belief that came within. Seeing so many different transformation photos is what gave me that desire to change. It gave me that sense of hope that if they could do it, why can’t I make a change as well. I made a choice and went on a mission to make a change and still on that journey to this day. . . 🌺We sometimes get fixated at the now and the end goal and forget to live in the present moment. It’s that impatience that breaks us.. We forget to Celebrate those little victories that leads to those goals. BUT- It’s a long journey and once you reach that end goal you still have to continue to progress mentally and physically. It’s a never ending lifestyle. At first that transition phase isn’t easy but rewarding when you stick with it no matter how many times you may have stumbled. . This current situation is extremely hard but we get to make choices daily that will lead to our goals. If one day may be extremely hard mentally don’t forget you can always restart the next day. Just don’t give up on yourself . . . . 🌺🌺. The leftists will tell you that you can be healthy at ANY size. They will tell you that obesity is only cosmetic. But that is a lie. No one is saying being 20 lbs overweight is going to kill you-tomorrow. But the degree of obesity directly puts you at risk for obesity related illnesses. Obesity Hypoventilation Syndrome is something Ive been seeing a lot lately. These are young people (in their 20s and 30s) who are spending weeks if not months on a mechanical ventilator. Weeks and months in a hospital bed. Not only is it damaging their quality of life, but it is also harming the people around them that love them. Mothers watching their children battle for their lives. We need to really educate children on the consequences of poor diet and sedentary lifestyles. These kids are losing their opportunities to thrive. Be grateful for your health. You get one body. Taking care of it will afford you many luxuries in life. I’m more energized and loving what I see in myself now. I was 170lbs - now I’m 129lbs, and I see life a lot different now. Fitbod is always pushing me to my limits.
