Hypnotized Minds (V16) 🥳🤯 A special moment. Just me, Hailey, and some snow. Such a process...In 2018 I made some big, promising links during just my 2nd session trying it. However, a few tries in I totally annihilated a pulley in my left index finger. Took months to heal. Took longer to mentally recover and decide to try Hypno again. Then followed hesitation, regression, doubt, bad weather, traveling for comps...the goal seemed to get further the more I tried it. But I continued to return with reckless optimism. Early Spring 2020 I made it to the last move and fell, but just days before I left for Switzerland. COVID hit, RMNP shut down, and I struggled with situational depression. I gained 10 pounds. Climbing was the last thing I wanted to do. Even still, I would run through the moves in my mind once each night before bed. As July rolled in and climbing outside was given the green light, motivation began to swell again. Everything in my control was directed toward improving my chances at Hypno in the Fall. Hailey helped me lose weight, @g1climbing and @tensionclimbing helped me train, and my clients at @otgstrength kept me motivated. My first day back on it 2 weeks ago, I quickly realized I could send it this season. A couple sessions (and splits) later, I fell off AFTER grabbing the lip 🤦♂️ and finally, yesterday, I found myself on top 2nd go of the day. Thanks to everyone for the support! Happy Global Climbing Day! In a sport that really glamorizes being underweight in the pursuit of the send, I‘ve never felt like my body type was “right” for climbing. Too bottom heavy, negative ape index, stubby fingers - you name it, I’ve picked it apart as a reason why I wasn’t cut out for climbing. Y’all —— 👏🏻fuck 👏🏻it. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY SWEET LOKI ✨🐱✨ Yes, I am 100% your average crazy cat lady and IDC who knows it!!! Animals are the freaking best, this bitch has gotten me through SO much and she has no idea… bc she’s a cat. I can’t believe it’s already been 2 years of life for her, in October it will have been 2 years since I adopted her 🥺 she’s the best cat I could of hoped for (esp growing up a dog person), she’s special bc female orange tabby cats aren’t as common, she’s also very petite and won’t be growing into a massive mountain lion, she’s got the best personality, is beyond friendly (even w/ strangers), and she’s the perfect balance between playful and lazy. My only complaints are that she doesn’t show me love as frequently as I’d like.. and she pretends to guard the front door but then bolts as soon as she hears even the slightest noise… guard dog she is not. However, she IS the greatest travel cat, she sat through a 3+ day road trip like a champ!! She’s been to Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Nebraska, and Chicago via car and she’s flown via plane. Basically she’s the coolest.. I’m sure everyone who’s read this far thinks I’m actually insane but that’s ok. In my teenage years I had Levi’s leather belt with a heavy silver buckle. It was cool as hell of course, but more than that it had this one special ’feature’ making it revolutionary — it was perfect to tie my Walkman cassette player on me while running. To be able to listen music when running made my world to explode. Hells Bells, Shoot To Thrill, Giving the Dog a Bone... those songs made me fly. It felt almost like I had smth illegal shot in to my veins. It felt religious and sinister at the same time. It felt sex, not sport. So, yesterday I made it to the same sand road I remember having those experiences for the first time... and of course with the same songs. No surprise the effect was exactly same - whole body goose bumps and need to sing along!! Also I still get this same feeling of some strange unearthly power literally pushing me forward when I hear the first riffs of those magical songs. Napalm in the morning (9a) (Adlitzgräben) -Definitely an ascent that means a lot to me. After 12-15 days and roughly 30 tries I was finally able to clip the anchor yesterday. In the past I have been avoiding long term projects, trying to climb as many routes as quickly as possible... Nevertheless I always wanted to experience the process of perfecting a number of moves, trying to climb as efficiently as possible and witness the progress day by day on a challenging project. -About the route: originally Napalm was graded 8c+ and first ascented by @bernhardfiedler in 2003. After a part of an undercling-sidepull broke, 9a was suggested, since it made the crux-boulderproblem slightly harder. Sarà l’ambiente della palestra e saranno le persone che se anche non ti conoscono, ti consigliano e tifano per te, per farti chiudere la via. Non esiste competizione, si è tutti nella stessa barca. - È una cosa a cui bisogna dedicare mente e corpo perchè se no, chi arriva fin su alla cima. Diventa, quindi, un po’ una sfida tra te e la parete e quando chiudi una via, ecco che la soddisfazione più grande arriva. - I “dolori” alle mani e ai piedi sono un qualcosa che dopo le prime volte non ci fai quasi più caso, all’inizio ti ammazzano ma poi diventano quasi normali. I sent another 12 yesterday! I dont know what happened, a switch just turned on and I was ready. I think living outside in nature for over 2 weeks now has been just what I needed. Its kinda strange to think that we havent even been in a house for quite sometime, our tent is starting to feel like home. Every morning waking up and meditating by the creek to the sun rising up over the beautiful mountains, has been so replenishing. This was such a great route, and unlike anything I usually climb. The first time I tried it I was not fresh, my hands were painfully bruised from the first few days of trying hard. I could not pull the first moves. The start up to the second bolt is very bouldery, which isnt my style, and small finger pockets with technical feet. My first attempt went horribly wrong, I just remember feeling like it was so far away from me, and I was not even close to being able to send. I came off the wall and balled my eyes out, defeated. 12s just seemed so big. I took a break from it and let my fingers heal while I worked more juggy climbs. I sent my first 12a at Lake point and took another days rest. Yesterday I felt good, and after meditating on it I decided I wanted to try again. Eric and I went out alone and I worked the bottom moves to try to unlock the sequence. It took me about 4-5 tries to figure it out, and on my first redpoint attempt I got almost to the top and blew it with a bad foot placement. I came down, reset and went again, this time I sent it! Its hard to describe the feeling of a dream come true, especially when it felt so far away just a few days ago. Pero sé que es un utopía y que las redes bien usadas es como nuestro diccionario, dónde puedes buscar sitios donde comer, medicinas alternativas, mentores, cosas curiosas, historia, fotografía… Así que después de pasar por la fase de CARGO DE CONCIENCIA por no publicar, MIEDO por si dejaban de contratarme ( que curiosamente he cerrado varias estos días), ANGUSTIA por si “desaparecía” y dejaba de “estar” en el mercado… y por fin… llegó La PAZ, LA TRANQUILIDAD, EL DISFRUTAR de NO TENER QUE ESTAR, y si QUERER. Así que aquí estoy! Con ganas, muchas ganas, con mis tres niños empezando el cole. Este, que tiene la misma edad que mi gran amor N., y mi recién nacida @saraloblamentoring. Siempre quise tener tres hijos y ahora entiendo por qué la vida sólo me ha dado uno de carne y hueso de momento ;P, porque tenía que cuidar a los otros dos. Cuando la familia va creciendo tú te vas dividiendo para pasar tiempo con cada uno de los miembros y vas siendo más selectiva con los ratos que pasas en tu tiempo libre. Con esto quiero deciros que a partir del 2022, reduciré mi agenda de bodas, no porque haya dejado de gustarme retratar el amor, para nada!! Es que necesito darme y mucho a la ayuda de mujeres emprendedoras y para eso necesito un poco más de tiempo y lo justo para mí hijo y para mí y mi salud, es repartirme. Llevo dos años gestando esta bella aventura y muero de amor con ella. Lo mejor de todo? Que es totalmente compatible con ser fotógrafa de alma. Llena de energía y cariño para mostraros el amor en su forma más natural, y no lo que es natural para mí, si no para mis parejas. ♡ グランピングに行ってきましたー⛺️✨ 小さい頃毎年キャンプに行ってて、子供たちでテント張ったり怖いの嫌なのに肝試しだったり、寒い中トイレしに山降りてデカイ虫だらけのぼっとん便所やったり😭嫌な記憶しかなくてキャンプはすごい苦手だったんだけど、 グランピングに初めて行って自然の中で火を焚いて自炊して キャンプの要素もありながら、最低限のスペースでトイレ・シャワー・キッチン・ベッドがあるお部屋で寝泊まりできたので私みたいな初心者には最適でした⛺️🙌🔥 他は何でもいいけど唯一トイレだけは汚いのは無理なのw 当日パスコードがメールで送られてきて、番号を入力するだけで部屋に入れるので誰にも会うことなく自分たちだけの時間を過ごせました♡ 家から車で2時間以内で行けて冬は雪が降り積もるから、景色もきっとステキなんだろなぁー🤍🤍 一面窓ガラスの部屋からは夜は星空、朝日もみれて ほんとに感動でしたー🤩 帰りの車の中からさっそく次のグランピングを探してて夫婦でハマっちゃった✨ - @mi_yan1014 on Instagram

ENGAGEMENT STORY🥂 (full story in blog!) SO. LONG STORY SHORT, here’s our magical weekend 🤍 It all started with a manicure - clutch move on Nates part. For the rest of the weekend I was fully convinced we were doing favours for both our parents and watching our younger siblings. We were on our way to Van to “pick up” his siblings and bring them home for the evening. We were waiting on the beach under this beautiful tree in Deep Cove and he begins telling me how much he loves me and how much I mean to him and goes DOWN ON ONE KNEE and asks me to marry him 🤍 I LOVE THIS MAN SO MUCH and seriously can not believe I get this honour!! I say YES of course and he puts the most beautiful ring on my finger and we hug and I’m in shock and LAUGHING and then realize hiding under the beautiful tree is a photographer who captured the whole moment. Never thought I would be so surprised during this special moment and can’t believe how ready I am to say yes to this boy 🤍 We head down to the dock to take some pictures, me having NO idea what’s about to come, and while we’re smiling Nate just hops into this BOUJEE speedboat tied up right there!! Punch me in the FACE I’m like WHAT!? Him, “You coming or what?? Hop in gorgeous!” I’m SHOCKED. I hop in laughing and as we speed off Nate pulls out Champaign (the real deal 🥺) followed with my swimsuit & a picnic with all my fav food! We zip around the gorgeous Indian Arm for a few hours happy as can be. THEN, he’s like alright we gotta return this thing back to Coal Harbour where I picked it up early this AM. We return the boat and are walking along the sea wall in Vancouver when he turns down the FLOAT PLANE ramp and I’m about loose my marbles!! He had prepared the staff to convince me we were just going on a tour of van, but we end up landing in WHISTLER and THEN Nates car is there filled with my suitcase and groceries and wine!! I’m DEAD. He says surprises over, we’re staying in whistler for 3 nights 🤍 JOKES ON ME the weekend was still full of the best surprises like massages at the Scandinave Spa & SKYDIVING are u kidding me - it was perfect and Instagram won’t let me type any more in this caption lolol 🤍 I LOVE U NATE U KING - @ellaklassen on Instagram
