Aufgrund der aktuellen Lage planen die Verantwortlichen, Deutschlands größtes Stadtfest von Mitte August auf das erste Oktoberwochenende zu verlegen. Goldener Oktober statt sommerlicher August: Die CANALETTO-Organisatoren hatten sich bereits vor einigen Wochen Gedanken gemacht, welcher Ausweichtermin in diesem Jahr in Frage kommen könnte. Dementsprechend waren die Stadtfestmacher vorbereitet, als die Bundesregierung gestern entschied, bis Ende August keine Großveranstaltungen zuzulassen. „Wir sind bezüglich der Verlegung von CANALETTO bereits in den letzten Abstimmungen mit Sponsoren, Künstlern und dem Veranstalter, der Stadt Dresden“, sagt CANALETTO-Organisator Frank Schröder. „Das Wochenende von 2. bis 4. It has been such a challenging time for the hospitality industry. Our thoughts are with you all. We have been fortunate to be able to support the federal government public health and safety initiative through housing repatriation guests, something we are very proud of. This also gave us a fantastic opportunity to provide for our dear staff members, suppliers and keep creating memorable experiences for our guests. During this time, our team at Stamford Plaza Melbourne have been keeping busy. We served over 5500 meals and accommodated over 3500 special dietary requirements. We also supported our local food suppliers as we purchased over 10000 kg of seasonal fruit and vegetables, 5000 kg of fresh meat and poultry, over 25000 eggs as well as other local produce. It highlights the core of what our business is about, being able to connect with people in different ways. Many thanks for your kind consideration and support during this time. In 2011 Chris Greive and I created our first Edinburgh Fringe show, PassionFlower, exploring songs from Tom Waits to Radiohead to Billy Strayhorn, all songs of love, lost and found, all with flowers in their titles. ✨🤍✨BELEZA PURA✨🤍✨Today we showcase a longtime gorgeous customer @clarissa_mcelroy ! This was one of the first samba costume we sold and she was exceptionally beautiful with it😍! It’s the kind of costume that is eternal, luxurious, classy, ethereal and all season favorite. It’s like perfect for wedding events and new year celebrations! It’s one of our best seller! Clarissa is an amazing professional samba dancer and performs in a variety of shows and events. Her group was performing at “Tease If You Please”, but now due to Covid they are on pause. Some of the photos you will see are from several events in Los Angeles. The last one at the Microsoft Theatre. We are exceptionally blessed to have beautiful and dedicated samba dancers as customers. They light up our Instagram and feed. This costume is a classic investment and we still make it in many colors. What we love about this style is the off white and white feathers in rooster and trimmed plumes. The bejeweled boreal, translucent, milky stones and AB crystals and rhinestones make this costume a luxurious one. Very dreamy. Thank you @clarissa_mcelroy for the gorgeous photos. We have had to make the sad but necessary decision to postpone this years Warwick Mop event. However, despite the postponement alternative plans are being put in place to ensure that an important part of the town’s history and tradition is maintained. Started as a hiring fair for local labourers and employers, the Warwick Mop fair and runaway Mop have been held on consecutive Fridays and Saturdays in October for more than 700 years. For the event to take place a Mop Charter is signed between the Council and the Mop organisers every ten years, which is read aloud to mark the fair’s opening by the Mayor of Warwick supported by the Town Crier. This is from the last gig of the tour earlier this year. The last gig we played before the pandemic put everything on hold. I miss this and I don’t know when I’ll get to do this again. It may be quite a while 🤷🏻♂️ The UK live music and entertainment industry needs help from the government to stay alive. So many people who work in both independent and non-independent venues are facing unemployment. These people are essential to gigs and shows actually happening night after night. The government needs to recognise this and provide adequate support. One day it’ll be safe again to put on live shows, I know we’re all looking to it. Oh, Broadway! ⠀ Любите ли вы мюзиклы так, как люблю их я? ⠀ Я не люблю театр от слова совсем. Очень спокойно отношусь к концертам. И вообще большие скопления людей не вызывают у меня большого восторга. ⠀ Но вот мюзиклы... ⠀ Как только я оказываюсь в зале и вижу этот дрожащий занавес, готовый в любой момент подняться, внутри меня тоже начинает что-то трепетать. ⠀ За все время я была на многих постановках - Cats, Mama Mia, Zorro, Принцесса Цирка, Привидение. Дважды на французском Notre Dame de Paris. Даже слушала их репетиции под стенами итальянского Колизея. Но вот Бродвей... Это действительно какой-то отдельный мир! ⠀ Некоторые пьесы годами идут в одном и том же театре. И это действительно сказывается: весь театр, все подмостки ювелирно заточены под выступления актеров и спецэффекты. ⠀ Все рассчитано до мелочей: откуда выйти актеру, куда повернуть свет, где в нужный момент должны появиться декорации. ⠀ На нашей постановке Призрака Оперы эта большая люстра, которая висела над залом, сначала поднялась со сцены, а потом триумфально «упала» на неё. Актеры исчезали в полу сцены и повалялись по самым потолком и даже плавали на лодке - а это даже не цирковая постановка! ⠀ И что уж говорить про звук - все актеры поют вживую и делают это так хорошо. Даже обидно, что во время представления запрещена вся фото и видео съемка. ⠀ Интересно, каково это будет - вернуться обратно в зал зрителем, когда все наконец-то вернётся на круги своя? ⠀ В январе 2021 меня ждёт французский Don Juan, на который мы должны были пойти в феврале этого года.
