Bored of seeing pictures of my bike yet? It just made it home from a total of 3,662 miles in just under a month on my trip across the Southwest. Its no show class show stopping chopper,its not hot rodded to hell with a 169 inch motor with the craziest head work and cams imaginable. It has stock paint,stock shocks,mostly stock 88 TC engine,a few essential upgrades and some extra love given to it from some badass homies who were kind enough to help me get it ready for this trip. I had almost zero issues the whole time aside from basic maintenance! It took me across the Sierras over Sonora Pass (again) to Mono Lake,down thru the Mojave to Joshua Tree and down into Prescott,Jerome and Sedona AZ,across to Gallup NM,down into Zuni reservation into El Morro and then up to Albuquerque and Santa Fe,all around the Jemez mountains,up to the Taos Gorge Bridge,thru the enchanted circle into Raton,all over southern Colorado,Colorado Springs and up into Saratoga Wyoming,all over the Sierra Madres mountains and Medicine Bow/Routt wilderness,across the Continental Divide,across Wyoming to Salt Lake City and the Bonneville salt flats,across all of Nevada and back into Northern Cali back to Oakland CA! Thanks to all of my family,friends and anyone who helped me along the way! This was one of the coolest things Ive ever done on my own! The Mile Beach Race 2020 - A huge and heartfelt thank you to all of our riders, guests and supporters of ‘The Malle Motorcycle Club’ that braved force 9 winds, 10m waves and the British “summertime in the beautiful town of Margate. Together we hosted the first ever motorcycle sprint race on the Sands…making history is never going to be easy! We’re still shaking sand out of everything and everywhere…and we loved every second of it! After high tide slowly ebbed away at 6.30am on Saturday the 27th of September, 250 suitably inappropriate motorcycles and their wild pilots took to the beach, racing head to head in an 1/8th of a Mile Sprint. The waves were crashing 20m over the sea wall, Malle race flags we’re bring ripped from the race markers, our trusty Union Jack flag (that has been used at every Malle Race/Rally since 2014) snapped under the gale force conditions… and still grins from ear to ear were seen on the start line all day! Congratulations to Guy Horner for winning ‘The Derby’ and taking home the exquisite Malle Mile Beach Race Trophy, hand made by The Rag & Bone Man. As ever, we’re humbled and grateful to the Malle Marshall team for going above and beyond, volunteering their time to help us host this wild race. We’re still unloading Beach Rovers and brushing 2 inches of sand out of Malle HQ, but we’ll be sharing more photos very soon and if you’d like to send some of your best photos for us to share and put in the Malle Archive, please do! One of the first vehicles to greet visitors is our Triumph Trident Motorcycle. The Triumph Trident was introduced in 1969, stemming from the design of the BSA Rocket 3. It was fitted with a 740cc upright engine that was capable of reaching speeds of around 115mph. Around 45,000 were made at the Meriden factory and its high performance proved to be a great draw for potential buyers looking for speed. It rips everything from the high alpine to the desert. The 250 power band is perfect for all around fun. I’ve set this thing up to be the ultimate do it all machine with the following upgrades: - JD jet kit (bike runs very crisp and I get 90 miles on the stock tank) - Enduro Engineering radiator braces - IMS core enduro footpegs - Seat concepts comfort seat - FMF fatty pipe and 2.1 shorty TI silencer - P3 carbon pipe guard - Baja Designs XL 80 headlight - Nitro mousse front and rear (no more flats!) - Goldentyre Fatty front and Maxxis Desert IT rear tire - Bulletproof Designs rear disc guard - Midwest Mountain engineering shorty brake and clutch levers - Polisport swingarm guards and clutch cover - Enduro engineering bar risers - Acerbis plastics all around (graphics will be removed prior to sale) 250hrs/4,500 miles. Did a top end at 200hrs and it looked perfect, I replaced piston and rings anyway as preventative. This machine is ready for anything and the best bike I’ve owned to date.
