It’s hard to believe that it has been 10 years since my sister, Kristin was taken from this world. Her spirit, vibrancy, and dedication to her family & friends will never be matched. She was the person that physically fought bullies in protection of her little brother, the person that would share her love of Hannah Montana with everyone, and the person that baked birthday treats for all of her co-workers. She made life better. I cannot put into words how heartbroken I am that I wake up every day and she is not in it. I am sad that the world, and all of those who loved her, have gone 10 years without her humor, her love and her enthusiasm for life. I always loved Belle and saw a lot of myself in her character but for every time I romanticized the tale, never did I consider being anything other than her. Yet life has shown me that theres more to this tale than meets the eye as I ripped my heart from my chest only to discover I am both beauty and the beast. I held my heart in my bloodied hands, I gazed upon this beast of burden and yet, I heard my soul finally roar at my hearts recognition. My hands became claws gripping till I gasped for air, till I acknowledged it was me all along. I almost regret giving others kudos for this magnificent beast that I held in my palms, as I felt it passionately and ferociously beat over and over again. In all seriousness though this boi has been in a lot of pain over the last few days and we’re so grateful that we caught it when we did because obviously we initially thought it was food poisoning which just was not the case at all. And to clear up his recent Instagram post, he is not in hospital because of drugs.
