💙 This photo was taking during my time at university, part of me still feels like I am going back later September and part of me still wishes that I can go and “put things right” , with not making the collection and saying goodbye to uni early (thanks covid)....However.... it’s a strange time right now and I’m sure many other graduates and people feel the same, some of us have jobs lined up, some have already been working, some (like myself) are still doing our own thing and wondering how am I ever going to get anywhere 🙄🤔.... 💭 it’s scary 🤯 but I am posting this to help remind myself and hopefully who else is reading this that sometimes we need to remember our past achievements, look at the bigger picture, see how far we have come and remember where we first started from. Aside from traditional quilting, I also really love EPP (English paper piecing). I typically pull a 50 weight @aurifilthread shade from my collection that will blend with the colors in the fabrics. Sometimes thats a bit difficult especially in instances like this where Im using a deep teal next to pink / white. My rule of thumb is to go with the lightest color, or one in between the two that will blend nicely. Are you an EPP enthusiast like me? Have you ever tried it?
