Quando iniciamos um projeto a primeira coisa que procuramos fazer é conhecer o espaço. De várias formas: dimensão, forma, legislação urbana, restrições de uso etc. Mas também procuramos “escutar” o que o espaço tem a nos dizer. Aproximar. Conhecer com o corpo. Na Cozinha Santo Antônio o imóvel já nos dizia muita coisa. Uma edificação dos anos 40, de uso misto, bem típica de Belo Horizonte. A forma da loja já indicava os fluxos de circulação, de acesso aos espaços. E ao perceber que as paredes podiam contar histórias interessantes resolvemos descascá-las para que pudessem nos revelar as memórias escondidas nas camadas de tinta. O piso estava revestido com uma cerâmica branca muito fina e insinuava a possibilidade de um outro piso existir por baixo. Ao retirar uma parte dessa cerâmica percebemos que era possível aproveitar o piso de ladrilho hidráulico da camada inferior. O programa do projeto incluía uma cozinha aparente, para que os clientes pudessem acompanhar o preparo da comida. Nesse espaço o cuidado com os revestimentos era importante e definimos, como revestimento das paredes, um azulejo 15x15 rosa bisotado e todas as bancadas em inox. Uma grande estante metálica pendurada no teto funciona como divisor desse espaço e também como apoio ao bar e cozinha. Todo o mobiliário foi adquirido em lojas de móveis usados e topa-tudo. Cada cadeira é diferente da outra mas conservam um estilo em comum. Armários foram adaptados a novos usos. A mesa coletiva em madeira de demolição podia abrigar até 10 pessoas. Hoje estamos estudando uma nova possibilidade de layout para acolher as pessoas, com a distância necessária em tempos de pandemia e ocupar uma porção externa ao restaurante, junto ao passeio. - @isabela_vecci on Instagram

Het is zon enorme bevrijding om jezelf te durven zijn. Ik weet niet hoe het bij jullie zit maar ik hield veels te veel rekening met alles en iedereen en was daardoor niet mijn werkelijke zelf. Soms durfde ik niet te zeggen hoe ik werkelijk ergens over nadacht, ik kwam niet voor mezelf op en hield de schijn op. He-le-maal op Instagram zag je niet mijn echte ik. Meine gutte, van die bullshit captions, ik ben echt zo guilty 🤦🏼‍♀️ Het blijft lastig om jezelf te vinden en met de jaren word je natuurlijk wijzer. Ik heb wel de bewuste keus gemaakt om hier echt te zijn.
