- I bought 200 bd ft+/_ rough sawn, weathered, barn boards (Midwest USA) for $300. The ones on the top of the pile were #2 white pine but they are all between 12” and 15” wide. Started sorting through this week for a project and discovered over half of it is clear Doug fir. Pretty happy.

- You always hear to air dry for one year per inch of thickness... I recently had two slabs from the same log that were bowed so bad I had to cut them in half. They have been drying since April 2017. The 2.5 inch slab was at 11.3% and the 3.5 inch was at 14.4% neat to see the difference.

- Glued box out of square, can I save this? The box is a keepsake for cousins first baby. Walnut and quarter sawn white oak. Its taken me forever to get to this point. Focused on getting miters to line up tight and forgot to make sure the box was square. Any ideas?
