Pizza jokes are all about the delivery, but luckily this one can be picked up too! Bocado had recently expanded its menu with wood-fired Neapolitan-style pizza. It is the ultimate comfort food, these pizzas are made with four-ingredient, low-gluten dough, using Antimo Caputo “00” flour. Aged for a total of 36 hours, the dough develops a light and airy profile, is hand-rolled and stretched, topped with fresh local ingredients and baked to perfection in a wood-fired Acunto Neapolitan oven in 90 seconds. We had the pleasure of enjoying three pizzas. First and most certainly our favorite was the Sweet Sausage,a red pizza with tomato sauce, fior di latte, sweet sausage, fresh chilies, scallion and sea salt. Next up is the Margherita pizza with tomato sauce, fior di latte and basil. Last and the sweetest one was their Nutella dessert, featuring a wood-fired bread, macerated strawberries, nutella and powdered sugar.
