Chissà dove vanno a finire le cose che non sono andate come dovevano andare.. Se rimangono in fondo al mare, come sassolini che rimbalzano sullacqua fino ad affondare. Certo molte di quelle cose riposano sul fondale per sempre cullate dalle onde. Alcune invece, ne sono sicura, attendono solo che sia tempo di succedere, come i sassolini che pian piano ritornano a riva trasportati dalla corrente. Non ci affanniamo, tanto quello che deve accadere.. Accadrà. Its hard to choose just one between the countless amazing beaches of Limnos, but my favorite was definitely Gomati beach. Close to the famous sand dunes, this place stole my ❤ from the very first moment. Although the sea was very shallow, (so no swimming was possible) and the color wasnt that blue as in other beaches, Gomati was surrounded by a wild, alien GORGEOUS landscape that I immediately fell in love with!!! Red flags are a tool utilized by ocean rescue organizations to keep the public safe and limit the number of drownings that occur each year. We fly red flags for your own safety. With hurricane Paulette passing off our shores early this week and hurricane Teddy now approaching towards the eastern seaboard, large swells and heavy winds have pushed in. Massive waves and large tide swings along the Outer Banks and east coast have attacked dune lines and opened up massive rip currents along the way. We mitigate foreseen drowning risks by flying red flags and keeping people out of the water. Per the Currituck County red flag ordinance, no water entry is allowed outside of surfers with a fiberglass surfboard at least 5 feet in length with at least one fin used in conjunction with a leash. Red flag conditions are re-evaluated each morning and take into consideration wave size and condition, rip current activity, littoral current, and predicted swell throughout that day. A pochi passi dal mare ☀️a Briatico si può ammirare la torre la Rocchetta, una torre di vedetta costiera, con il compito di avvistare le navi turche. 📍Briatico - La Perla - Torre La Rocchetta Briatico è un piccolo paesino nelle vicinanze di Tropea. Briatico fu distrutto da un violento terremoto nel 1783, ma fu poi ricostruito dai superstiti nella posizione attuale, su una terrazza sul mare. Arrivando a Briatico non si può fare a meno di rivivere i luoghi del passato. A testimonianza dell’antico vissuto di Briatico vi sono sul territorio, proprio al limitar della costa, i resti di 2 delle 5 torri di avvistamento costruite in varie fasi a difesa dagli attacchi pirateschi degli incursori turchi, che oggi rappresentano le perle di Briatico. La torre, a pianta pentagonale, fu costruita in origine dai greci, subì i primi ritocchi ad opera dei romani, e poi in epoca medievale, fino a giungere a noi nello stato attuale, un po’ diroccata ma conservatrice di tutto il suo fascino, rende impeccabile il paesaggio con la torre che guarda sullinfinità del mare. Happy Labor Day weekend, VB! ☀️ Those planning to visit the Oceanfront during the last holiday weekend of the summer should expect larger-than-normal crowds. Please note that when the amount of traffic entering the Resort exceeds the capacity in the area, for safety reasons, vehicles traveling I-264 eastbound may be diverted at Parks Avenue and redirected westbound on I-264. These diversions, which ease congestion and maintain access for emergency vehicles, could occur anytime between 8 p.m. today, Sept. 4 and 1 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 6. When traffic is diverted, the eastbound exit for South Birdneck Road and the westbound exit for First Colonial Road may be closed. Other routes into the Resort Area will remain open: General Booth Boulevard, Virginia Beach Boulevard, Laskin Road and Shore Drive.
