The lighting the poses, the shading its just tooooo gooooddd. The girl on the left needs a little bit of anatomy fix, but overall its too good :’). 48/50 [Aster] 42/50 YOOO this is so pretty 😻😻 lighting and shading are so gooooood👏 and i love the background omfg- sadly tho some of the edits werent the best quality but besides that point, i love it!! [Vasnity] Ill give it a 45/50 I love the shading on this!I find this very appealing and I like how the outfits matches one another,I do feel like the lighting should be a bit brighter,I mean in performances I think there would be spotlights or something,but its still enjoyable and amazing to look at!The background is also well done,good job. [Zena] 47/50 Everything seems nice, the lightning and shading is on spot and the colours chosen was beautiful. But the anatomy needs some work. I’m happy to report this image is perfectly centered 😂 Haha you now probably think ‘what was in her coffee this morning?!‘ Up until now I’ve always struggled to place my lettering pieces perfectly into the center of my canvases - and it’s been driving me crazy! The amount of times I was just about to post a picture to Insta, only to find out it wasn’t exactly in the middle 🙈 But no longer! Procreate 5x now has a new snapping feature with guidelines which makes it super easy to align elements on the canvas 🎉🎉 Yes I know, it’s a small thing, but it makes me so happy 😁 So yes - there’s a new major Procreate release just around the corner - and I’m soooo excited about all the new features! The @procreate team have done it again and put some magic into our favourite app I didn’t think was possible. I don’t know exactly when it will be available for everyone, but my gut feel tells me it’s not toooo far off! One of the many reasons we moved to Perth was the proximity to friends and family in Ottawa and Kingston. Day trips are so quick and easy now! We took two trips over the long weekend: 📍We consulted @perth.tourism and @girl.gone.goods new collaborative Perth & Area Hiking Trails guide and chose Foley Mountain Conservation Area in @whatsonwestport, and, 📍We went to @visitkingston and had dinner at @atomicakingston, where I found @tsdistillers vodka in the wild! Dried grape leaf. Watercolour on paper for the Botanical Battle contest (🇬🇧 below) // 🇷🇺Лист винограда для отборочного тура 3-го Ботанического Баттла, акварель, бумага Arches 600gsm. Фиолетовые оттенки недвусмысленно намекают, что мы с листом хотим в команду @svetlana_lanse. Берите нас, мы будем защищать честь сухой кисти под знаменем светостойкости! Ну, то есть, очень постараемся. Кстати, о пигментах в этой работе. Удалось применить недавно купленный синий YInMn, причём, на мой взгляд, удачно: в тонких слоях он хорош для создания налёта, не смывается (как ультрамарин), в смесях даёт глубокие тени. Также активно использовал оригинальный фиолетовый кобальт PV14 от Шминке, который уже много лет как снят с производства (но удалось выцепить несколько кювет на ebay). Оттенок совершенно уникальный, темный и яркий почти как диоксазин, ничего подобного среди кобальтов я не видел, при этом светостойкость 5*. Ещё в ход пошли красный PV19 и ягодный PR207, а спонсор сияющих алых переливов – мой огненный любимец PO73. Ещё охра, сиена и зелёная земля, куда ж без них, ну и всякого другого по мелочи. Сам лист был найден в деревне Strodehne, где я снимал в августе ночное небо и Персеиды (если интересно, фото в моей личном аккаунте @littlegreenlens 🙂). . . . 🇬🇧 This is my entry for the Botanical Battle online contest. In this artwork, I used some uncommon pigments like the new #YInMn Blue (which I think is a nice opaque and staining alternative to ultramarine), the vintage genuine cobalt violet from Schmincke (not sold anymore), PV19 and PR207 for brilliant reds, and PO73 for the glowing crimson highlights. Also ochre, sienna & green earth, and some others for an occasional mix.
