Our indigo color for Series III is hand dipped 12 times to get the perfect shade. This photo is after one of the earlier dips, swipe to see a work in progress photo to see how much darker it gets. - For all our naturally dyed styles, we work with Green Matters to create stunning colors that won’t hurt the environment. Their process uses recycled rainwater and plant based materials, eliminating harmful chemicals created by the traditional dyeing process. With natural dyeing, every piece is unique and special due to the time, care, and effort that is put into them. For our Series III we have 3 beautiful styles that have been naturally dyed, and we hope you’ll feel an even stronger connection to them! - @shopwomn on Instagram

2020년 시작부터 우리들의 삶을 흔들어 놓을 정도로 여파가 큰 코로나 바이러스라는 나쁜 적을 만났고 그 여파는 지금까지 이어지고 있습니다. 무관중으로 시작된 올해 첫 대회는 시간을 거듭 할수록 점점 악화되어갔지만 IFBB 프로 코리아 팀은 어떻게든 정부의 방역 방침 아래 정해진 일정을 완주하기 위해 최선의 노력을 했습니다. 그리고 어제 많은 분들이 기다리셨던 IFBB 프로 코리아의 가장 큰 대회인 아마추어 올림피아와 AGP 프로 대회를 무사히 마치게 되었습니다. 어려운 시국에 대회의 참가를 결정하고 참석해서 불편함이 있는 상황에도 불구하고 통제를 너무 잘 따라준 우리 선수들과 관객들에게 먼저 가장 큰 감사의 인사를 드립니다. 보이는 곳, 보이지 않는 곳에서 대회다운 진짜 대회를 만들기 위해 쉼 없이 움직이며 준비했던 우리 IFBB 프로 코리아 팀 멤버들, 마지막으로 이제는 더 이상 설명이 필요 없을 정도로 최고의 심사를 운영하는 IFBB PRO 공식 심사위원들이 아마추어 올림피아와 AGP 대회를 멋지게 이끌어 주었습니다. 힘든 시국에서 불가능해 보였던 일들을 우리들이 모이고 힘을 합쳐서 해낼 수 있었습니다. - @ifbbprokorea on Instagram

- 50 Shades of Indigo.
Shibori stitching is so versatile and there are so many patterns you can make with just a few stitches. This is a pattern called ‘Tate Waku’ or rising steam. It’s comprised of three closely spaced lines of running or ‘nui’ stitch, interspersed with rows of ‘ori nui’, which resembles teeth and is sewn on the fold. I use a template I had made to draw these lines as a guide to stitch to. There are 18 rows of stitch in this 7” square so it’s quite time-consuming to stitch. Then it’s been dipped 6-7 times in my Japanese indigo vat to build up the colour to this rich blue. - @romordesigns on Instagram
