💙🚔 Today, WPD Officer Burton responded to a welfare-check call regarding a disoriented and lost elderly woman. This woman was experiencing the early stages of Dementia and was only able to tell us her name. Officer Burton reached out to other outside agencies to check her previous addresses but was unsuccessful. He then transported her to Fountain Valley Hospital where her address was located through her health insurance, and she was safely returned home. I was used to burning bridges. Never thought I would be helping build them! Every time I look at my life I see God’s hand in every situation. He always made a way when it seems like there was none. He always gave me hope. He always comforted me and welcomed me with open arms. Even when I was willfully rebelling against Him, He showed me love, grace and mercy that I’ll never deserve. And..... we’re back. 24 days in quarantine after Tommy tested positive for Covid. Thankfully his symptoms were extremely mild but the stress of the unknown was real. We distanced, we caught stuff, we cooked stuff, we fixed stuff, we built stuff. I’m happy to report that I really love spending time with my family. Stay safe out there. ***EDIT-for those asking- Malia, Jack and I all tested negative. Tommy was considered “recovered” ten days after his first symptom (he had been symptom free for 7 days at that point) Since we were all negative we had to start (re-start) our 14 day quarantine the day he was officially considered recovered. This was the most conservative recommendation but decided to play it safe. We are going for antibody tests this week. We’ll let you know how it goes. - @jonnymoseley on Instagram

I’ll admit that I’m totally freaking out about getting older. I see it, feel it, my brain and my mirror remind me constantly and it’s an undeniable fact that I’m aging. I’m almost feeling anxiety in the fact that I will be 50, 60, 80 before I know it and I’m halfway there. 😭 It’s almost my half birthday and when is the last time you even thought about your half birthday...when you were 6?!? Well, I am because I’m 41 1/2 and I never in my wildest dreams thought I would be this old. My mom is in her 40’s not me! I remember my mom in her 40s for goodness sake. Then, I saw this picture we took boating tonight. It’s unfiltered, real, wrinkles, happy creases and eyes that tell a good tale. I cried as I looked at this picture so grateful I get to grow old with him and grateful for the wisdom and memories age brings. Now, I’d totally be lying if I didn’t disclose the three skin treatments I’ve done this month because as I told my kids when they kept asking what was wrong with my face, “Moms having a dermatological mid-life crisis.” 😂 How about you? San Diego County beaches scored a victory at this months California Coastal Commission meeting when in a 7-5 vote, Commissioners rejected a deceptive application for a seawall for a Solana Beach property that was knowingly built too close to the bluffs in 1996. ⠀ ⠀ The homeowners waived their rights to a seawall when the home was built, and instead agreed to remove part of the home if and when it became threatened by erosion. However, theyve applied to armor our public beaches 5 times since 2001.⠀ ⠀ While the city of Solana Beach remains willing to approve the wholesale parceling off of our public beaches to protect their residents’ private property, WE ARE NOT. ⠀ ⠀ Thankfully, the Coastal Commission heard our argument and agreed with our position.
